The next morning Wardlow lets himself into the hotel room again with Shawn at his side. It's back on the road to AEW's next show today, and everyone else is up and ready to go. Spears holds back a laugh when he steps into the room and turns over to Wardlow.

"Well, aren't they cute?" Spears laughs quietly.

"They're trouble. That's what they are." Wardlow shakes his head. "I knew that letting Max mess around with her would be a bad idea."

"I don't know." Spears shrugs. "I think that they're good for one another. Don't you?" He asks Wardlow.

"I suppose." Wardlow shrugs again. "It's just...I've known him for a few years now. Shawn, I've never seen him act like this before. It's like she's got him hooked or something."

"Pretty sure that's called love, Wardlow." Shawn chuckles. "They're kids. Two kids that frankly, I think were meant to be with one another. " He admits.

"Just wake them up, or we're gonna end up late for our flight." Wardlow rolls his eyes.

"Yeah yeah." Spears nods and walks over to the edge of the bed on the far side of the room.

Sam and Max are fast asleep in bed, one of them snoring very softly. Shawn walks over to the closer side of the bed, which Max is sleeping on. He grabs a spare pillow from the other bed then hastily brings it down onto Max's head. The pillow hits Max's head with a cushioned 'Thud' and Max jolts awake with a yelp.

"What the fuck?" Max is awake and alert in an instant, swatting the pillow away from his face.

"Rise and shine." Spears laughs as Max sits up and the pillow is swatted right into Sam.

"What the hell?" Sam wakes with a much more graceful yawn. "Who's throwing shit?" She asks groggily and grabs the pillow that hit her.

"Him." Shawn quickly shifts the blame to Wardlow.

"What?" Wardlow replies, a look of betrayal on his face.

"Don't be a narc, Shawn." Sam tosses the pillow at him followed by another yawn. "What are you two even doing here?" She asks them.

"Yeah, stalkers." Max agrees with Sam.

"We came to wake you two love birds up," Wardlow explains. "Or we're gonna end up missing our flight." He reminds them.

Sam glances at the clock on the nightstand then quickly springs to her feet. Wardlow chuckles and turns tail to the door.

"We'll meet you two in the lobby in an hour." He calls after them. "So no funny business." He adds.

Shawn trails after him and laughs as well as he shuts the door behind him. Sam hurries over to her bag sitting on the floor and begins looking for a set of clean clothes. Max lets out a yawn and glances at Sam frantically digging around for clothes. He chuckles to himself and walks over to her.

"Easy there, princess." Max grabs Sam in a hug from behind. "Why don't we calm down a bit, yeah?"

"I...yeah." Sam nods and calms down with Max hugging her. "We've got an hour, I guess." She shrugs in his arms.

"Exactly." Max nods and lets her go. "Now, I'm gonna grab a shower. You wanna join me?" He asks Sam.

"Umm, no." Sam giggles. "If I join you then we really will end up being late." She shakes her head and goes back to looking for some clean clothes.

"Fair enough." Max chuckles. "It's your loss sweetie." He teases her.

Sam rolls her eyes and ignores Max as he makes his way to the bathroom. She picks out a pair of clean clothes and promptly gets dressed. Once she's dressed Sam begins packing all her stuff back up and fishes her plane tickets out of her mess of a loungefly backpack. She pockets her tickets safely away and opens up her phone, opting to check her Twitter first to get a glimpse of all the gossip last night.
