Otabek and Yuri Plisetsky have been in a relationship for a few years now, currently, Yuri was pregnant with their first child.

While watching Otabek skate his routine, Yuri suddenly feels a tight pain in his stomach

No, there's no way I'm going into labor now! It's Otabek's birthday today.

He was cut off from his thoughts when he felt another hard pain shortly after the first, causing him to double over and groan a bit.

Baby, please, just hold on a little bit longer, ok? Hold on for your Papa

Unfortunately, the little boy Yuri was carrying had other plans, moving around and kicking roughly, Yuri gasped when he felt his water break suddenly.

"Oh! Oh god!" Yuri cried, just as Otabek was finished with his performance, he skated off the ice and noticed Yuri doubled over in pain, his eyes widened.

"Yura! Are you okay?!" he asked in concern.

Yuri clenched his teeth and tried to breathe through the continuing pain. "I think... I think I'm going into labor"

Otabek's eyes go wide. "Really?! No, it couldn't be! You're not due for another few days!" he exclaimed, helping Yuri sit down on a bench.

"No, it's true, my water broke a few minutes ago, our little boy wanted to surprise his daddy for his birthday" Yuri breathed roughly through the onslaught of contractions

Otabek was extremely worried about his boyfriend, Yuri leaned against his shoulder and closed his eyes, gripping his hand.

Yuri and Otabek made their way to an empty locker room, he knew that he wouldn't make it to a hospital before having to give birth.

Once they were settled in the locker room, Otabek ran to get some towels, then came back and laid them on the floor to make a makeshift bed, helping Yuri sit down after removing his pants and underwear.

After sitting and doing a few breathing exercises, Yuri was ready to push.

He leaned his head back, propping himself up on his arms as he pushed with Otabek encouraging him.

"You're doing so perfect, love. I can see the head" Otabek said with a smile.

Sweat cascaded down Yuri's brow, he panted and took a few seconds to catch his breath, then, he took a deep breath before pushing as hard as he could, gasping when he felt the baby's head crown.

"Oh..! Oh..!" he panted, closing his eyes.

"Breathe, Yura, breathe" Otabek whispered.

"Ah... Ah... So close" Yuri muttered, after catching his breath, he began to push for the last time, gasping when he felt the baby slide out of him.

His vision blurred for a second, he heard his newborn son's crying and looked toward Otabek, who cradled the baby boy against his chest, handing him over to Yuri, who began to cry tears of joy.

"Oh! He's so beautiful, Beka. He has dark hair like you" he said with a smile.

Otabek smiled back at him and brushed Yuri's sweaty hair away from his face, kissing his cheek.

"I'm so proud of you" he whispered, hugging Yuri's shoulder.
