Surprise, I just had a baby

I got this idea from a picture I saw on Twitter. I loved how they portrayed their own version of one of my absolute favorite fan fiction tropes, omegaverse. So, I decided to write this.

Adam knew he was pregnant for a while now but didn't feel the need to tell Tadashi, it wasn't very obvious that he was pregnant because he wasn't carrying an average human baby, he was carrying a puppy and he knew this.

Why? Because he was an omega and Tadashi was an alpha, alphas, betas and omegas are born as puppies and as they mature and grow, they develop into humans.

Although he had a while to get used to the idea of being pregnant, it became all too real when he was right in the middle of a call and he felt that first contraction.

He grunted softly and panted, the man on the other side of the phone took notice of Adam's heavy breathing.

"Mister Ainosuke? Are you okay?" he asked.

Adam stayed silent for several seconds, drawing out a long breath. "Ah, yeah, yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine. Please continue"

As the call continued, Adam kept feeling the contractions, he tried to keep his voice steady and his breathing even, but it got harder for him to seem nonchalant as the contractions steadily progressed.

Finally, his water broke with a pop and fluids trickled down his legs, followed by an intense stabbing pain.

"I-I might have to call you back, I'm feeling a little under the weather"

Before the man had a chance to ask what was wrong, Adam hastily hung up the phone, with trembling fingers, he unbuttoned his pants and slipped them off along with his underwear.

He could already see a tiny little head beginning to peek out.

With one hand gripped onto the table, he held his other hand in place to catch his pup.

Within only about 3 pushes, the tiny little pup slipped into his hands, it was so tiny and was the same color as his hair.

He smiled as he watched the little blue pup wiggle around and sniff the air.

"Ahh, hello, little one" he sighed softly, removing his shirt to swaddle the pup.

When Tadashi entered into the room, his eyes nearly popped from their sockets at the sight of Adam, disheveled and covered in sweat, standing practically naked in front of him, a tired smile on his face and a little bundle in his arms.

"Ah, Tadashi. Surprise, I just had a baby" he was so calm and collected about the entire situation.

"S-sir?!" Tadashi exclaimed, scrambling for his phone to call for an ambulance.

Once the paramedics arrived, Adam handed the puppy over to a trembling Tadashi.

"I'll be fine" he reassured as he was wheeled into the back of the ambulance on a stretcher.

Tadashi was in pure shock, looking down at the bundled newborn pup with tears raining down his face.

"Ainosuke!!" he cried, unsure of what to do with their newborn baby.

He was happy, of course, but overwhelmed with shock, it happened so quickly, he didn't have hardly any time to process the situation.
