OVERPROTECTIVE (JJK FANFIC)

Part 7

3rd person's POV:

Nanami woke up as his alarm was beeping. He reached his hand out and turned it off. Y/n was still asleep with her doll beside her. Nanami sat up and throw his legs over the bed. He stood up and approached Y/n's crib. He look inside a saw his adopted sister sleeping peacefully.

He put his hand inside the crib and caressed her cheek with his index finger. Y/n slowly opened her eyes and saw her brother. "Good morning, Y/n." Nanami greeted. "Nii-chan." Y/n said and raised both of her hands toward Nanami. Nanami put both of his hands in the crib and carried Y/n by her armpit. Y/n sat on Nanami's arm as the other support her back.

Y/n snuggled into Nanami's shoulder and hugged his neck. Nanami turned his head and kissed Y/n's head. "Did you have a good dream?" Nanami asked. Y/n lifted her head and shake. "No?" Nanami asked. There was silence for a while then Nanami spoke. "Ok then..." Nanami said. He walked into the bathroom and washed Y/n's face and brushed her teeth.

He put Y/n on the bed and walked away to take her clothes. Y/n lean back and flopped on the bed. Nanami grabbed Y/n's clothes, wet wipes and a diaper. He set up a small cushion on the floor and put the stuff on the ground. He stood up and grabbed Y/n then laid her down.

He took off her clothes and diaper. He grabbed a wet wipe and wiped Y/n's bottom. Nanami rolled the dirty diaper and shoved it into a plastic bag. Suddenly, his phone rang. He quickly stood up and walked toward the nightstand. He grabbed the phone and answered it.

While Nanami was busy on the phone, Y/n rolled on her stomach and pushed herself up. She runs out of the room, naked. Nanami finished his conversation with the company's newbie and turned around just to find Y/n gone. He put the phone down and walked out to find Y/n.

Y/n was in the living room playing with her toys. Suddenly, a flyhead landed on the couch in front of her.

"AHHHHHH!!" Y/n cried out in panic. "NII-CHANNNNNNN!" She yelled. Nanami turned from walking to full speed mode and run toward Y/n's screams. "Y/n!" Nanami yelled. Y/n closed her eyes and covered them with her hands. She opened it and turned her head to find her brother. "Ni-channn!" She cried again. She quickly stood up and run toward him but tripped on a toy and fell on her face.

She pushed her upper body up as her nose reddens from the fall. Tears formed at the corner of her eyes and she cried at the top of her lungs. Nanami quickly walked toward her and picked her up. "There, there. Ni-chan here. Ni-chan here. It's just a flyhead." Nanami said and patted Y/n's back repeatedly.

Nanami walked toward the flyhead and grabbed its body while the other arm holds Y/n. "See." Nanami said and showed the flyhead in front of Y/n. Y/n freaked out and cried out loud. "Ok, that was a bad idea." Nanami said. He exorcised the flyhead and showed Y/n his empty hand. "There. It's gone. It's gone already." Nanami said.

Y/n grabbed Nanami's hand, "Ni-chan hurt?" Y/n asked. "No, ni-chan is fine." Nanami reassured Y/n and kissed her forehead. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Nanami put Y/n down and give her some toys to distract her. Nanami walked toward the door and opened it halfway.

Naoya was standing there with two men beside him. "Zenin?" Nanami asked. "Hello there, Nanami-san. I would like to meet Y/n." Naoya said. "Y/n? How do you know her name?" Nanami asked and covered his view from looking inside.

Naoya smirked, "She's my niece." Naoya said. Nanami's eyes widened in shock and disbelief. Y/n stood up and walked toward Nanami. She hugged his right leg and peaked her head at the three mysterious men. "And there she is." Naoya said. He kneeled and reached his hand toward Y/n. "Hello there Y/n. How are you?" Naoya asked.

Y/n backed up while still holding onto Nanami's pants. Nanami has taught Y/n not to talk to stranger unless he say it's ok. Y/n turned her head up and look at Nanami for an ok sign. "Y/n, go to my room." Nanami said. Y/n let go of Nanami and run into his room. She pushed the door and closed it.

"Why are you here when she was abandoned on the street?" Nanami asked. "I didn't abandon her. Her parents did." Naoya said. "Then where are they?" Nanami asked. "They died. They killed themselves." Naoya lied. "Why?" Nanami asked. "Hmm... Let's see. Ah! They killed themselves because one of our psychics told them that Y/n is a cursed child." Naoya said.

Nanami has a feeling that Naoya was telling him lies and hesitated whether to believe or not. "I am her uncle and i have the right to take her back. I'm sure you have no clue about her technique?" Naoya said. Nanami's eyes widened in shock. Naoya showed him a wide grin.

"So, Nanami. Why don't you bring her to the Zenin Clan and I'll show you what her technique is." Naoya said. Nanami gritted his teeth then opened his mouth to respond.

"Fine."
