Wolf's Out of The Bag

*Second year*
"James, Peter come here" said Sirius.
"What?" Groaned James "I was thinking about Evans"
"Oh sor-ry" said Sirius and rolled his eyes.
"Listen, I noticed a pattern in Remus' disappearances and so I did some research and,... I think Remus is a werewolf"
"Nah" said James "prove it"
"Ok, 1 a werewolf will disappear once a month, check, 2 a werewolf will have scars that are tinted silver and never fade, check, 3 a werewolf will have a comfort food..." Sirius trailed off
"Chocolate" said the three boys together.
"wow" exclaimed Peter.
"Yeah but you can't tell anyone, he could be killed" said Sirius
"I solemnly swear that we will not tell anyone" said James and Peter nodded.
"Good, now we need to figure out a good way to confront him about his, ... furry little problem" said Sirius.
"I have an idea, we'll need some chocolate, full moon's tonight right Sirius"
"Yep"

Remus entered the room at 7 the next morning, looking like absolute crap.
"Rem here have some chocolate frogs" said Sirius.
"Hey Rem" said Sirius slowly
"We've noticed a pattern in your disappearances..."
Remus froze in horror, then ran out of the room.
Sirius followed him quietly.
"Remus wait,"
"Go away" said a muffled voice, "I'm a monster".
Sirius opened the door and sat next to Remus.
"No you're not" said Sirius and to Remus' utter surprise he hugged him.
Peter and James wandered in and they joined the hug.
Then Remus scrambled free, and whispered,
"how can you touch me, I'm a monster, I'm horrible, I'm a disgrace"
"No you're not" said Sirius, "and whoever told you that crap is very wrong".
"We all love you, don't we guys" said James.
Peter nodded then he and James went straight to bed, overwhelmingly tired. Sirius stayed, and hugged Remus,
"I love you Remus"
"I love you too Sirius"
They were yet to realise exactly what that meant.

*later that year*
The boys or the Marauders as they liked to call themselves were playing truth or dare with vertiserum one Halloween night. It was Remus' turn, and as it was too late for dares he picked truth.
Remus took a sip of vertiserum mixed with pumpkin juice as James asked, "what's a secret no one knows?"
"Hang on guys you have to swear on your lives you will not tell anyone until I'm ready" said Remus. The boys did.
"Ok" said Remus, "I'm bisexual".
The boys were silent for a moment until Peter asked "what does that mean". Remus explained and Peter cried indignantly "so you can kiss twice as many people" and the others laughed.
A while later Peter fell asleep and Sirius left for the bathroom.
"You like Sirius don't you?" Said James.
"Even if I did I wouldn't tell you".
But James got it right, Remus did like him, but Sirius would never like him that way.
