*5 months later*
It was February, and a Hogsmede Valentine's visit was fast approaching.
Lily was subconsciously wishing James would ask her to go with him, but it seemed that James was trying not to harrass her anymore. Which Lily found more annoying now than when he did harrass her.
She decided to take matters into her own hands.

*in the boys dormitory*
"James come here" Lily shouted
"Yes Fawn" he called
"D'you wanna go to Hogsmede with me" Lily asked
"As friends..." asked James
"No, not friends, it's Valentine's after all" said Lily, looking at the ground rubbing the carpet with her foot.
The boys' jaws dropped what the f***, did Lily Evans just ask James Potter out?
"Of course I'll go to Hogsmede with you Lily, but what, when did..." James trailed off
"James I always liked you, but you were just such an arrogant toe rag, but I knew if someone who you cared about rejected you because of your behaviour that it'd show you how good a person you really are" Lily smiled
"So you've liked me this whole time" asked James
"I think so, but I really realised when you grew up Prongs" Lily explained
Then she hugged James.

"JAMES FLEAMONT POTTER, THAT WAS..." Lily shouted
James prepared himself for a scolding
"So much fun" she finished
James remembered to breathe
"What, but we just about blew up zonko's" James asked
"I know, I've never done something so wreckless in my entire life" said Lily
And then she did something James had only ever dreamed of, she kissed him. And it felt like fireworks were going off, they weren't but things inside Zonko's were exploding everywhere.
"I think we've had a bad influence on her" said Sirius to Remus

"James and Lily sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" sang Sirius, but he stopped when Lily offered to permanently dye his hair pink. (BTW, Lucius' hair is still ever so slightly pink)
"So Fawn, on a scale of one to ten how good a boyfriend is Prongs" asked Sirius, trying to cause trouble
"Negative two, what about Moony" Lily replied, getting a punch from James
"One thousand" said Sirius, and he kissed Remus on the cheek.
"And Wormtail, how good is Amelia" asked Remus
"She's bloody brilliant," said Peter, "Smartest Hufflepuff around"
"How come She's not a Ravenclaw" asked James
"Cause she's so bloody kind" said Peter, smiling.
