Chapter 6:

The Dark Preacher: Arkham

Nightmares are a new normal for me at this point. And in the same thing, it was Luke and Arkham. This time, Arkham was holding, no, no no, why is he holding The Yamato?

"Master Mundus has called to me with information that will amuse you." Arkham said, his voice darker, more intimidating, "The sons of Sparda have been captured." He showed Luke my uncle's memento, "He has presented us a way to ambush Camp Halfblood."

"His father and uncle being captured," Luke said, "That's two of the four descendents of Sparda."

"Yes." Arkham confirmed, "All there is left are the grandchildren, Nero and Lux." He sat in front of Luke, "I believe you have history with the latter excrement of Sparda?"

Luke stood up and turned to something I didn't notice before, a coffin.

"Lux is far from excrement Arkham," Luke explained, "He defeated Malphas, the last Geryon and even demonic shells created from the Qliphoth all in a day." He paced to the fridge and grabbed a drink, "He also has been training under a Child of Ares." He turned back to Arkham, "Vandhaul I believe my spy has called him."

"Lux is not his father," Arkham said,

This is where I felt power swell up again, I wanted to yell at them. However I woke up to my windows shattering and my vision a shade of red. I took deep breaths to calm down and looked out to the shattered window, a huntress, glowing silver, like she was basked in twilight, was standing there, she turned to face me, yep, it was Artemis.

I got dressed and ran out to see her, out of respect, I took a knee.

"You don't need to do that," she said, "Stand up Lux Redgrave."

I stood up quickly,

"Sorry," I said, "But why are you here exactly, Lady Artemis?"

"You see," Artemis said, "It has been a year, and Kat wanted to know how you've been."

"Did she join you?" I asked,

"Yes," Artemis admitted, "She is still receiving training in magic."

"That's good to hear." I said, smiling slightly,

"Indeed," Artemis said, "Now, this Arkham figure, you recognise the name, correct?"

"Yes." I answered, "But where?"

"Do you know Lady, your godmother in a sense?" The Goddess asked,

"Of course," I answered,

"Arkham," Artemis said, "Is her father. The reason why I despise so many men?"

"A scumbag who wants power to the point he teamed up with the Lightning Thief?" I asked,

"Not just the Lightning Thief, Luke Castellan," Artemis explained, "But the Titan Lord, Kronos."

I looked at the dawn,

"Be honest," I asked, "Can you save him?" I turned to her, "My father."

She shook her head, "I'm deeply sorry Lux Redgrave," Artemis said, solemnly, "Fate is the cruelest of us all."

"I understand." I said, my voice shaky and my stomach churning,

"Before I go," she added, "Hold out your hands," I follow her order, "these bullets are made of the same metal as your sword and my arrows," She placed four Magazines for Ivory in my hands, "Use them wisely." she then walked off, shapeshifting into a peregrine falcon and flying back to her huntresses. How bizarre.
