'So, Tomioka-San's loved ones came back..'

'His best friends...'

'One of them is a girl though...'

'So he loves that girl?'

'I hope it's platonic...'

'Dear God, please make it platonic...'

'What if I would have encountered that demon?'

'Nee-San might have have come back...'

Shinobu was lost in her thoughts.

"-ocho, Kocho, Kocho, hey, ya there?"

"Oh, sorry, Tomioka-San... I was lost in my thoughts..."

"Well, know that there's a puppy following you."

"I think it's a Golden Retriever."

A/N: Yes, I have added me and my demonic dog who could rival Muzan in power as minor characters.

Shinobu stared at the fat and sweet little thing in horror.

"Woof."

Shinobu then screamed and jumped.

"Giyuu... you haven't changed." said the peach haired boy named Sabito.

"You're still pure evil." Sabito was now smirking.

They looked at the aqua eyed girl known as Makomo who was now staring and... talking to the puppy?

"Oh, your name's Boba?"

"You say your owner's lost?"

"She's dumb?"

"That's hurtful for her..."

"Oh, I'll take you both back!"

"You say that your owner's brother is a dumb meanie who steals your owner's cookies?"

A/N: I KNOW YOU'RE READING, YOU COWARD! GIVE ME BACK MY OREOS!

After dropping the puppy and his owner, who had completely fallen for Giyuu, they continued back to the Butterfly Estate.

"His owner was weirdly dressed."

"Yeah."

"And she was head over heels in love with Giyuu."

"She told him 'Don't drown yourself in self-hatred, darling! And say hi to Kyojuro for meeee!' which was weird, as if she knew everything about us, which in turn, reminded me to ask you..."

"...How many times did you try and kill yourself when you were 19?" asked Sabito, whose tone had become more dark, more serious, more sad, more angry, more...

...worried.

Shinobu stared in horror after stopping in her tracks.

'Tomioka-San tired to kill himself?'

'Sabito-San asked him how many times, which means...'

'...he's tried to kill himself numerous times.'

'Why?'

Sabito was trembling in anger.

"ANSWER ME, YOU COWARD!"

"HOW MANY TIMES?"

"HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU GO TO A FOREST WITH A ROPE IN YOUR HANDS?"

"HOW MANY TIMES DID YOU STARE INTO A LAKE WITH THOSE DAMN THOUGHTS?"

"YOUR GODDAMN CROW ALWAYS USED TO COME WITH FALSE REPORTS TO SAVE YOU!"

"YOU'VE TRIED TO HANG YOURSELF, DROWN YOURSELF, SO MANY TIMES!"

"WHY DID YOU SUDDENLY STOP AFTER THE FIRST OF JANUARY TWO YEARS AGO?"

"WHY DID YOU STOP SO LATE?"

"WHY DID YOU SUDDENLY BRING A ROPE DURING THE MISSION ON MOUNTAIN NATAGUMO?"

"WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THE PROTECTION OF TANJIRO AND NEZUKO WHICH CONVINCED YOU THAT YOU SHOULD LIVE?"

Sabito had tears streaming down his angry face.

An uncomfortable silence was there.

They were in the middle of a forest.

"G-Giyuu..."

"Why did you even think that you were a burden?"

"Why did you think you were unworthy?"

"Why did you think we... we hate you?"

"We died because of our choices, not because of you, but because it was supposed to be that way."

"You've improved so much..."

"We're proud of you. Everyone is."

"We all love you."

"Never once did we hate you."

"Never think it was your fault..."

"...otherwise I'll personally strangle you."

Makomo said, sniffling.

Shinobu was at a loss for words.

"I'm so sorry..."

"I'm such a worthless piece of shi-"

"OI SHUT UP!"

"Giyuu, you aren't worthless at all."

Sabito and Makomo looked at Giyuu with loving eyes and concerned eyes.

"Let it all out. Don't hold it in anymore. Don't hold it in like you've been doing for the past 12 years."

Shinobu watched as the emotion-less Water Pillar...

...broke down.

Heavy tears dropping.

His mask was off.

And Shinobu saw his real face.

His face filled with guilt, sadness, self-loathe and despair.

Sabito and Makomo pulled Giyuu into a hug.

"We're here for you now."

Giyuu then realized that the short, cute and purple thing know as 'Shinobu' existed.

"Ah. We're sorry for making you listen to our crap and singling you out."

"You want in on the hug?" said Giyuu, in a broken voice, with a sad smile.

Makomo gestured at Shinobu with her hand as if to say 'Come on, we don't bite.'

Shinobu joined in on the hug.

It was warm.

And loving.

And she realized that...

...everyone needed to be loved once in a while.

To be continued!
