After the Water Hashira, his friends and Shinobu's group hug was finished, nobody uttered a word till they reached the Butterfly Estate. 

"Oi, Giyuu, those are butterflies, right?"

"This is the Butterfly Estate, what else would it be filled with, flying hamsters with dog feet?"

"Gosh, you're such a dumbass." 

Sabito had a '>:0' look on his face. 

"Giyuu, gee! Those words of yours sting worse than a bee!" 

"Also, who taught you the word 'dumbass'?" 

"I'M AN ADULT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND DUMBASS ISN'T EVEN A BAD WORD-" 

"WELL, YEAH!"

"BUT YOU WERE SO GODDAMN INNOCENT!" 

The girls couldn't help but giggle at the boys' antics. 

"Hey, Shinobu-San, seems as if I haven't told you what happened while me, Gi-gi, and Sabi were training! I think we were all about eight and a half...!" 

"AW HELL NAW, MAKOMO!" 

"That one was so goddamn hilarious."

"GIYUU!"

"I KNOW YOU DID THAT ON PURPOSE!" 

Shinobu was surprised at the cute nicknames.

But now, instead of considering her as a love rival towards Giyuu, she wanted to make friends with Makomo. 

It was what Nezuko, Tanjiro...

...and Giyuu...

...would have wanted, right?

Plus, Makomo reminded her of her elder sister, and a bit of herself. 

"I would love that, Makomo-San!" 

"Oh, okay! Plus, call me Mako-Chan or Mako!" 

"And call me Sabi if you please, Shinobu-San!" 

"You can call me Giyuu. I don't wanna be left out."

"No nickname for the boy know as Giyuu Tomioka!"

"Pfffft, I guess that your name's just as small as your brain!"

"Shut up before I send you back."

Shinobu blushed at the thought of calling her cold and aloof crush by his first name. 

But she quickly snapped out of those thoughts. 

"Thank you, guys! And call me Shino!" 

"Oh, okay! Now, spill the beans, Mako!" 

"Okay, so basically..."
