"What if the Uber driver turns out to be a kidnapper and murders us? It happened before to plenty of other people and this guy's profile is a bit sus," you said showing Ranboo the profile.

"You're watching too much horror stuff and creepy stalker kinda news," Ranboo said as he peeked at your phone. "Really," Ranboo asked, facepalming. "An Among Us picture. As Dream. Actually, send that to me. I wanna use it as my phone wallpaper. It has so much potential."

"Someone tagged Dream in it and he texted me asking who in the right mind plays Among Us anymore."

"The game is dead, but the memes are still there."

"I used the think Among Us was like those Fruit Ninja games but as jellybeans with legs and backpack and the size of a kindergartener."

"Which I'm like three feet taller than."

"Any askers?"

"Yes. Me."

"I hate you."

"I'm a lovable person."

"I find that hard to believe in."

"Yeah but you also thought I made my Minecraft skin 'cause I liked zebras."

"They are technically black and white-colored."

"I made my Minecraft skin when I...was at the beginning of my adolescence alright?!?!"

"I think that's the Uber." You pushed Ranboo towards the car that stopped in front of you. "Ask him for our name," you whispered.

Ranboo rolled his eyes as if saying yes I know. After a while, Ranboo turned around and gave a thumbs up.

You and Ranboo passed the time by playing children games like rock, paper, scissors, and chopsticks. "Practically adults but still children," Ranboo whispered.

The silence in the car was noticeable, the driver tapping his hands on the steering wheel to the beat of Jingle Bells.

There were times when conversations were attempted but ended pretty quickly.

As soon as you arrived back in the neighborhood, you ran towards the children's play structure. Ranboo followed your suit and nearly bumped his head twice on the monkey bars.
You tried the monkey bars but stopped when you could feel your hands starting to form calluses. Your feet were planted on the ground, with your hands moving towards the next bar as if you were really doing them.

"We are totally just the right height," you said as you bumped your head inadvertently on the wooden platform.

"Yup."

"Is it normal if I'm already feeling my mid-life crisis speak to me when I'm not even legally an adult...yet?"

"Already? What are you thinking about? Growing gray hairs and wrinkles?"

You scoffed. "Now that's just rude to all the people who are old. Ahem," you coughed, "you." Yo coughed again.

"Sheesh. Did you suddenly choke on air or something? I believe you meant to say that I am youthful."

"No. What I said is true."

"Breaking news, some bald three-year-old toddler, otherwise known online as Lyra, has been spotted chasing a great, young, youthful boy, otherwise known as Ranboo. Back to you Jonathon on the weather report."

"We both know I'm the superior one since I can actually slide down this slide without my feet touching the ground."

"That does not make you superior. Do you know what does though? Me being me."
