Chapter 09

Nasa McDo kami ngayon at para akong batang inaalo n'ya because my eyes are still puffy. He wants us to eat here, which is fine because it was my favorite restaurant when I was a child. My father used to bring me here every Sunday to eat my favorite chicken fillet and ice cream.

Bahagya akong napangisi ng makitang natulala ng ilang segundo si ateng nasa counter bago s'ya matauhan. why almost everyone who has just seen him is always taken aback by his presence?

Someone appeared in front of me out of nowhere, and it was the guy from the other table. Weird.

"A-uhm... Hi miss?" I could tell he was nervous by the tone of his voice.

"Yes?" I asked.

"Can I have your number?" Kakamot-kamot sa batok na tanong nito.

I was about to say no when Calvin appeared in front of the table. The guy next to me was caught off guard by Calvin's appearance.

"What did he ask you?" He seriously asked me.

I pursed my lips before answering his question. "My number." Sagot ko.

"Did you give it?" He added.

"Nope, I never give out my phone number to strangers," I said with assurance.

"Good." Matipid ngunit may diin n'yang sabi.

Nakakatakot naman 'to masyadong seryoso.

" I saw your tweet."

"I know you're bothered by something, but I won't ask you what it is. I pursed my lower lip after saying those words.

"About sa binanggit mo kanina," Calvin started.

"As usual, I was dealing with a family problem." He chuckled. My heart aches a little because I know that something is hearting him inside behind those laughs.

"My Dad is so... Aaa!  he doesn't respect me, Cala, or my mother's urn. He brought his girlfriend to our house." What made him do it? Daddy did not first ask them if they agreed with his decision. He should think about his children's decision. I can't pass judgment on his father because he has his own reasons.
