An hour later, she was no longer rocking purple hair. She looked different, but after Izzy was done, she looked so hot. "Damn, Izzy, you are a magician."

"Let's go show the boys," she said with a huge smile. "Simon is going to love this."

Clary laughed, "he's so strange; most guys get jealous when their girls dress like this. By the way, when are you going to get married?"

She shrugged, "He met me dressed like this; it's all he knows. Plus, he's at least asked me. What about you and Jace?"

"If he asks, I'd say yes, maybe."

Izzy scoffed, "You would say yes. What about you and Jin?"

"Uh, I would marry him tomorrow if he asked. I gotta lock that boy down before someone else discovers his 12-inch dong." Then Tavi laughed, "Jin is going to pitch a fit; I know it." But she was grinning because making him mad makes her so happy. They walked into the library, and she did a little spin for Jin. His mouth dropped open, and he stalked towards her.

"Is this your natural hair color?"

Tavi booped his nose, "wouldn't you like to know? Now, where are my weapons?"

Jimin walked up beside him and handed him a wooden box. He took her hand and walked her to the couch. He sat the box next to her on the sofa and opened it. Inside was crushed blue velvet and two staffs about two feet long. "You'll have to hide them in your boots. I know they aren't as long as usual staff, but you can attach them or have two shorter ones."

Her eyes went wide. "Oh my God, Jinnie, you are the best when giving gifts."

Jimin snorted, "Most women want flowers or jewelry; this one wants weapons."

She winked at him, "You know it." She quickly hid them in her boots, then spun around and looked at Magnus, "Well, we're all dolled up. Are we going to do this?"

Alec and Jin were grumbling, and Simon was practically drooling over how hot Izzy looked. "Yup, let's go." He made a portal, and they were off. Tavi wasn't sure where they were, but she was excited. There were lots of strange and delicious smells, making her a bit hungry. Magnus turned to look at them. "They prefer their eye candy to be dumb and quiet."

Tavi frowned, "Well, I'm neither, but I can sure try."

They walked into the building and were immediately surrounded by large black men. "I'm here to see Chen; I'm Magnus Bane." They nodded their heads, and then they escorted the three of them into the elevator. She wanted to bombard Magnus with questions but knew now wasn't the time. There was a long hallway when they got off the elevator, and at the end was an ornamental gold door. "Ready?"

They looped their arms around him, and off they went. He opened the door with magic, and there, sitting down behind an obnoxious Donald Trump-style desk, was a fat, bald dude. "Magnus Bane, and just why are you here annoying me today?"

Magnus sat down in the chair like he owned the place, Izzy went to sit on his lap, and Tavi sat on the arm of the chair. "I heard that you were the man we had to go through if we wanted to purchase someone?"

That interested him; he leaned forward and smiled oh so creepily. "I might know of a place, and what's in it for me?"

Magnus snapped his fingers, and Izzy leaned forward. The bald dude was ogling her big time. She reached in, pulled out an antique bracelet, and handed it to Magnus. It was almost like they'd done this before. It was a tad bit too coordinated. "Is that what I think it is?"

Magnus nodded his head, "Yes, it's the bracelet that was stolen from your mother's wrist before she was killed. Is this enough to gain us entry?"

Chen nodded his head and snapped his fingers. His guard walked over to them and took the bracelet, and then Chen handed him an amulet. "This will get you in. The date and time will appear on the back."
