"I could have easily gone home with him if I wanted."
His eyes narrowed, and steam was practically coming out of his ears. He turned to the others and told them to get out. He was so mad that they didn't want to leave that Tavi had to reassure them that Jin would never do anything to her that would hurt her. His lips crashed into hers the second the door shut. "I'm sorry, Tavi, but I have..."
She shut him up by kissing him; he needed reassurance right now and to know that she was his. Tavi pulled his pants down and fisted him. He pulled back from the kiss long enough to remove their clothes. She was being lifted into his arms, and she could feel him asking for entrance. With a few moves of her hips, he was inside.
He was rough and frantic, but she didn't care. He can pump into her as hard as he wants to if this is what he needs. She'd have bruises tomorrow, but nobody sees that part of her skin except for the two, so it wasn't a big deal. It took him three hours before he was finally done; there wasn't a part of her skin that didn't have bruises or marks because he had touched and kissed everywhere.
The next morning, she smacked him for marking her so much: "If he sees you, I want him to know that you belong to someone, Tavi."
"Jin, I doubt I'll ever see that man again." Oh, how very wrong she was. A week later, Joon approached her and Jin while they ate breakfast.
"What's up, Joonie? You look like you are about to barf?"
"Tavi, I. I don't know how else to tell you this. You've been reassigned to Alicante."
Jin was pissed, and she was confused. "Assigned, what the hell does that mean?"
"You are a shadowhunter now; they assign you where they need you. You are needed at Alicante."
"Okay, that's dumb, but I guess I'll go."
That caught Jin's attention, "like hell you will, Tavi; that means you'll have to live there. You won't be able to sleep with me every night."
That made her pause a bit. "Oh, well, that blows." Then she looked up at him. "I know that you love your brothers, but could you come to Alicante, too?"
He scratched the back of his head, "I'd go in a heartbeat, but they won't let me since I'm assigned here. But I can always try."
"When do I have to leave Joon?"
He wouldn't even look at her, "You have an hour to pack your things."
That sent Jin into another rant, and it took her 30 minutes to calm him down. She threw all of her clothes into a duffle and gathered her weapons. Jin followed her around like a puppy. She was sad about leaving him, but this was her new job, so she'd do what needed to be done.
Everyone gathered in the library, upset that she was leaving. The maknaes were crying, and Tavi gave them all big hugs. That alone was proof enough of how upset Jin was because he didn't fight her about touching his little brothers. "I promise you'll still see me; it's not like I'm going away forever."
Jin held her tightly, "I'm going to miss you." He sniffled.
"I'll miss you too, but I must go now before I'm late and get in trouble."
When she walked through the portal, he was there, Josiah. He grinned at her and then walked over and hugged her. "I'm so glad that I could make this transfer work."
Tavi narrowed her eyes a bit, "you are why I had to leave London?"
"Sure am. Grant praised your amazing staff management skills, and I need a bodyguard."
Now she was baffled, "Bodyguard? Aren't you a shadowhunter?"
"I am, but politics makes you soft. So, we have the option of hiring someone if needed. I chose you."
