You woke up to a rather annoying beeping sound. Your head knows that today is huge, but your body refuses to move. Bit by bit, you drag yourself out of bed and freshen yourself before meeting the rest at the quinjet.

"Everyone's here. Let's go through the plan." Everyone stares at the screen while Steve explains. Steve splits us into groups to cover more ground and to get this done quickly. You are task with Natasha, with the rest of them getting one of ex-hydra members.

Each of the teams are given different floors to clear. Your team is given 4th to 7th floor.

You and Natasha start clearing the rooms. You can hear Tony and the rest fighting the others, so you are sure that they have been alerted and ready for a fight. Before initiating the battle, Steve specifically mentions to you not to make them disappear, being the ever gentlemen hero he is. You have no choice but to assist Natasha by disarming them while she puts them out of the fight.

Things are going well until you reach the 7th floor. There were significantly more people guarding this area, indicating that there is something of value here. Natasha noticed this as well and asks for backup as soon as the rest are done. This is harder on you as there are too many people, and Natasha is moving around a lot more fanatically. You didn't want to accidentally make Natasha disappear. That would be too much to handle.

Natasha notices that you start using your powers less, and she decides to change her tactics. She only moves along one side of the walkway while fighting the rest. You notice her change and make your move accordingly.

Soon, the rest of the Avengers clear their part of the floors and proceeds to help us. Within minutes, the Avengers managed to get control of the building.

"I hope you didn't make anyone disappear." Steve trying to make sure that I kept my promise. "You wouldn't know anyways." Trying to make fun of the situation.

Tony, being the tech genius, starts looking around for clues about the other whereabouts. You look around to see if there is anything interesting until you see something familiar. You enter the room and inspect it more closely. This is the machine that turned you, or at least, it looks close enough to your memories.

"Tony, can you come here for a moment?" You try to call him here to see if he could help.

You point to the machine. "This is the thing that changed me, I'm almost positive." "Alright, let me call Bruce up here. He is still waiting in the quinjet."

Not long after, Bruce comes up and inspects how the machine works. You stand around waiting for him to be done impatiently. Everyone is also waiting around since there is nothing for them to do.

"It seems to be quite straightforward, once we get the machine going, we should be able to use it." Bruce enlightens us with his analysis.

"Can we use it now?" Getting your hopes up. "Don't you want to test it first?" Wanda being uncertain with your enthusiasm. "I mean... what are you going to test it on anyways?" You try to assure her that nothing will go wrong. Surely, they are not going to get another human to try this on.

"The kid is right. I am confident we can get this right." Tony agrees with you. You put a brighter smile on your face but deep down, you are also afraid if something goes wrong.

Seeing how everyone decides to go through with this, Bruce has no choice but to accept your decision. They went ahead to set everything up, and you prepare yourself by sitting on the machine. With everything going on, you are somewhat nervous. Your heartbeat is getting faster and faster. You weren't this tense when you were fighting Hydra. Everyone wishes you good luck before heading out of the room.

Bruce briefs you of what's going to happen to catch you up to speed, but all you could catch was that it is going to hurt. You can't really focus on figuring out what he said through your heartbeat. It is as if someone is playing your heartbeat on your headphones.

They strap you in, in case you move about. Moving around will only make things worst and may even result in your death.

Thank goodness the Avengers are not able to see you. You are not able to bear the thought of them looking at you suffer. Bruce patted you on your shoulder to let you know that they are starting soon. You brace yourself for impact, knowing it's not going to end well.
