The bright sun rays casted over the blonde male as he sat in his car alone, giving himself a pep talk. The twenty-four year old was about to go for his second interview this month.
The blonde angel worked hard all his life to study genetics and anatomy in university, wanting to become a geneticist, however, he was unfortunate when he settled to become a Biology teacher. What a change of plans. He didn't despise teaching; teachers were a gift to this world. To teach so many children who could one day grow up to be the next Isaac Newton; Park Jimin found teachers brave and inspriring. Although, that didn't mean he wanted to be one. But, now he was, and he couldn't complain. It was an easy four year degree to obtain.
After so many years of studying, he thought - and really hoped - that it would be easy to find a job at a nearby school but after applying for a job to four schools, only two had asked him to come in for an interview. The first interview that this strikingly handsome blonde teacher went for was at a private school a couple blocks away. The salary would have been amazing...if they decided to take him. Only after his one-on-one interview with the principal did the receptionist call him a couple days later to say they don't need a Biology teacher right now. How rude. He wasted his time for no reason.
So now, he was sitting in his car in the dimly lit visitor's parking space of a public high school. Busan High School. The most renowned public school around. He didn't want to teach at a public school. For some reason, he felt that teenagers at a private school would be more well-behaved. The blonde didn't like badly behaved kids. Gosh, were they annoying. He hadn't enough mental energy to deal with troublemakers, and at a private school, only the posh and elite kids would attend. You know, the kids whose Mommys and Daddys taught them how to fold a napkin over their laps. Sure, Jimin was being completely ignorant to the fact that not all rich people are like that, but he knew Busan High had a reputation. A lot of troublemakers attended this school, and he just hoped, prayed, that he wouldn't get stuck with a rowdy class.
His small and soft hands clenched his steering wheel as he rested his forehead on it, eyes closed as he spoke to himself.
"You can do this, Jimin. It's not difficult. You've trained for this for four years. You graduated top of your class. You can handle a couple troubled students, right? Besides, it's just an interview," Jimin breathed out as he nervously gulped. Boy, was he nervous. He couldn't keep sitting here. He had to get out and attend his interview scheduled for ten in the morning.
Ten in the morning.
That was five minutes from now.
In a sudden realisation, the blonde angel instantly removed his keys from the ignition and sprinted out of the car with his resume in his hands. He walked up to the building of the school. The red face brick building was huge, but surely he could tell the age of the school just by its appearance. The school building must have been over a hundred years old.
Jimin's hair fluttered as he jogged up to the receptionist office, tapping on the glass window that separated the receptionist from the visitor. She immediately looked up at the handsome visitor, a small smile curving on her red lips.
"Good morning," she greeted the teacher through the glass.
"G-good morning. I'm here to see Mr. Kim," the blonde panted gently due to his short jog. The receptionist smiled before looking at her appointment book.
"Mr. Park? Here for an interview?" she confirmed, to which the young teacher nodded.
"Right this way," the receptionist said.
She exited her office and led Jimin down a short hallway. At the end of the hallway, they were met with a blurred glass door and the name plaque which said Mr. Kim (Principal) engraved. The receptionist knocked on the door, before she opened it a tad bit just to peek her head through. Jimin stood behind her and held his breath as he heard her speak.
