Jungkook had been parked at the waterfall where he took Jimin the other day. That day when things were going so well. He should've known that things wouldn't stay perfect forever, but was he a fool for hoping?
The younger had been sobbing for the past couple hours. It had already turned dark. That's how long he left Jimin for. It was more than seven hours since he's been gone, and he's been sobbing too.
He felt terrible.
As much as he hated the situation, his heart still beats for Jimin.
Seeing Jimin sob so terribly made Jungkook sob even more as he recalled the events of this morning. It was a fucking nightmare to him. He had finally found the love he craved for, and it was gone.
Was it gone?
Jungkook felt horrible. Would he really make Jimin choose between his child and him?
No.
Jungkook knew what it was like to live without his parents. He turned out awful (according to himself), and as much as he hated Eunha, he loved Jimin, which meant that he would love any part of Jimin too. This child just happened to be a part of Jimin. He will accept it. His heart wouldn't but if Jimin getting back together with Eunha is for the good of the baby, then Jungkook would permit it. He would.
Because, he loves Jimin, and in some way, he loves Jimin's child. He wants the unborn baby to have a happy life, and what would be better than having a father like Jimin?
Jungkook smiled at the thought of Jimin being a father.
The baby deserved such an amazing and beautiful father. They deserved happiness and love from the angel. They deserved Jimin. Eunha didn't; but the baby did.
Jungkook sobbed harder as he imagined it. The baby being born would make Jimin happy. That was the one thing Jungkook could never give Jimin; and now, he realized that maybe, this was a good thing. Maybe, Jimin deserved the love of a child more than he deserved Jungkook's love. Maybe Jungkook's love wasn't worth as much.
This was what the young teenager thought as he sobbed, thinking about his Jimin with another woman. The thought made him furious. But, the thought of Jimin happy with his child made Jungkook smile, sadly.
Jungkook continued to sit on his motorcycle as he thought, sobbing away.
Jimin deserved happiness more than he thought he did.
'Would it really hurt to let my sweet live a happy life, even if I'm not in it?'
Jungkook sobbed, but then he smiled bitterly, before looking down at his necklace and reminding himself of the promise he made to Jimin.
"You're mine."
In many ways, Jimin would always be Jungkook's. He will be Jungkook's first love, his first boyfriend, his first soulmate. But, he had to move on if Jimin chose Eunha. Jungkook was not going to keep Jimin caged in this relationship. The older deserved happiness with a family. A family that Jungkook couldn't give him even if he so desperately wished he could.
So, with a mourning heart, the young brunette gave a kiss to his necklace pendant, and started his motorcycle, ready to go to see Jimin and tell him that he's willing to let him go back to Eunha.
It was the most mature thing the young boy had ever done. All this time he thought his love would be enough for Jimin, and maybe it was, but with a baby in the picture, Jungkook didn't want to compete with an innocent soul. He could always be Jimin's best friend, and he could always see the baby. Maybe, he wouldn't be able to love Jimin like he hoped, or give him a family like he wished, but just being in the blonde's life would be enough for Jungkook.
