The next day happened to be a Friday. After yesterday's escapade in the classroom, both Jimin and Jungkook went to Jimin's home to actually study. Jimin helped Jungkook with biology for as long as the younger wanted, before Jimin had to do some remedial work revising the sections for the exams coming up. It was just more than three weeks until exams started and Jimin was encouraging and motivating Jungkook to give it his all.

The younger was smart. He used to be a nerd in middle school. In the past, good grades never came difficultly for him. But now, after entering high school and having so many distractions, the younger lost his work ethic. If he managed to bring back some determination, he could really ace his exams.

Today, since it was Friday, Jimin and Jungkook were going to go to Jimin's home and the older was going to cook for him. They were going to have their own at-home date. Jungkook was excited to spend his time with the older and to finally, maybe, make a move. They do sleep together often because of his teenage hormones but, by making a move he wanted to solidify his relationship with Jimin. He wanted to pop a question. Maybe ask him out on a real date after he graduates.

After school, Jungkook was heading to Jimin's class to surprise him. They could go home now but Jungkook wanted to walk his favorite teacher to his car before they went their "separate ways" to reach Jimin's home.

Upon reaching Jimin's class, the younger halted when he realized that the art teacher was yet again in Jimin's class alone with the blonde. Except, this time, Jungkook stood beside the wall to listen. Sure, he was eavesdropping but he had a good reason. He was already insecure about Taehyung.

After he concentrated enough, he could hear Mr. Kim's soft but deep voice in the classroom, since the door was open.

"What are you trying to say, Mr. Kim?" Jungkook could hear confusion laced in Jimin's sweet voice.

"What I'm trying to say, Jimin...is that, I'd like to take you out tomorrow. I know we will get busy soon because the seniors are starting finals but before that I'd like to take you out and get to know you... Only if you let me," Taehyung's sweet voice made Jungkook envious as he felt his heart breaking within his chest. He could trust Jimin, right?

"Uhm... Tomorrow? That's a little soon isn't it?" Jimin chuckled nervously. Jungkook heard the entire situation and he immediately began to tense up at this. He was scared that Jimin would forget about him instantly once he looked into the eyes of the drop dead gorgeous Kim Taehyung.

"I mean, it is short notice. I could reschedule," Taehyung said. Jungkook was listening to the entire thing and he felt his heart racing at the fact that Jimin could accept the handsome teacher's proposal.

"Maybe you could. I'm really flattered that you want to get to know me better. Maybe we could meet before finals start for the seniors," Jimin said to the art teacher, and Jungkook's heart broke. He immediately left the hallway, deciding to go back to his aunt's home for today.

Jimin looked at the art teacher and he held a soft smile on his face.

"We can get to know each other as friends, though, if you don't mind? I'm currently seeing someone and we're pretty serious so I don't think I should be going on dates with other people. Please understand. I really like you as a friend, Tae," Jimin felt really bad to break his friend's heart like this.

"It's okay, Min. I actually know that you're into someone. It's written all over your face. You practically glow. I just had to shoot my shot, in case. I don't want to have regrets. But, maybe one day we could be best friends, yeah?" Taehyung asked the blonde beauty. To say his heart was still intact would be a lie. Taehyung was heartbroken, but it was just a small crush he developed over the past couple weeks. He could get over it. He needed this rejection because he wanted to get over the blonde beauty who captured everyone's hearts.

"I'd really like that. Have a good afternoon, Taehyung," Jimin smiled at the art teacher and packed up his bags to leave. The blonde would be on his way home to wait for Jungkook so they could have their indoor date watching scary movies together.

On the other hand, Jungkook was wiping away his tears harshly as he got on his motorcycle in the school parking lot. His eyes were turning bloodshot as he cried before he could even leave the school gates. He started his motorcycle and drove off, clutching the steering tightly as he zoomed down the streets.

His tears flew off his face in the harsh winds as he took multiple turns to his aunt's home. The younger was angry, but heartbroken too. How could Jimin just accept another man's proposal, even after yesterday when Jungkook told him he was scared that the blonde would leave him for someone much older?

Sure, they weren't a couple yet but Jungkook really wanted to ask the teacher to be his soon. He wanted to do it tonight, since he realized that his possessiveness won't be much of a problem anymore with Jimin since the older was so understanding.

Jungkook felt his chest tighten as he thought about yesterday. Jimin seemed so calm and accepting of his possessive qualities so why would he accept another man's date? Jungkook didn't understand it.

And the truth was, Jungkook didn't understand at all. It wasn't an actual date that Jimin agreed to because the blonde only saw Taehyung as a friend. In the beginning he was slightly attracted to him, but all that flew out the window the day Jungkook and him slept together. Jimin couldn't think of anyone else as attractive after that. Jungkook was all that he wanted. But, the younger had no idea because instead of asking Jimin about this, or even staying to eavesdrop a little longer, the brunette just jumped to conclusions. And that was the biggest problem. He assumed Jimin would want to date older men but in reality, Jimin loved Jungkook; and he was happy with him, irrespective of whether they dated or not.

Jungkook whizzed down the streets in a crying state, his nose all red and his eyes puffy, before he entered the familiar house that belonged to his aunt. Right now, she was working her first shift at the restaurant, so he would be all alone in the house.

He sniffed continuously as he dug through his backpack for his house keys. He had both Jimin's spare key and his aunt's spare key on one keychain. He used the correct key and unlocked the house, before entering the uncomfortable silence that made no help of quietening his thoughts. He felt a sense of hurt and heartbreak, trudging towards his bedroom before he opened his cleaned bedroom.

His aunt cleaned his bedroom while he was with Jimin yesterday. He felt a pang of guilt as he realized he spent so much time with Jimin and barely saw his aunt lately. He prioritised someone who didn't even have the loyalty in him to decline Mr. Kim's offer. Who was Jungkook fooling? Jimin owed him no loyalty at all. They weren't a couple. Jungkook had to keep chanting that in his mind to prevent himself from going back to school and punching Taehyung in the face for having the nerve to ask Jimin out. But then again, Jimin was single to everyone because no one was allowed to know about the student and teacher having an illicit relationship.

Jungkook flung his huge body on the bed and began sobbing in his pillowcase. His tears wet the pillowcase as he felt so stupid. Did he really think that Jimin would love him like how he loved Jimin? Did he really believe that the older saw something special in him? As much as it pained Jungkook to believe, he kept repeating Yoongi's words in his head, forcing himself to believe that Jimin did in fact use him for sexual pleasure and nothing more. If only he had the energy and faith to believe in Jimin and maybe clear the situation up.
