Bonus: New Year's Day Special

To celebrate the festive season, and to give back to my beautiful readers, I have started a project wherein I write a bonus chapter for each Jikook book.

The aim of this is to give back, and to allow our favorite stories to be reborn. You don't have to read the bonus chapter of each book because that might be confusing, but if there is a book or story that you miss more, the bonus chapter is for you!

January 26th

Today marked the birthday of the little angel, Eunji.

She had turned one today.

Jungkook, being just twenty and in college still, was beyond tired and exhausted this morning. However, he didn't let that stop him from waking up early, along with Jimin, to pamper their baby.

She was just one, and couldn't speak, only babbling like an infant would. She was beautiful. Her features became more and more prominent as months went by.

She had Jungkook's lips (pouted and pink), and his eyes (large and doe). Jimin could never look at her without falling more and more in love with her. Every time he looked at her, he fell in love with the baby that came from his lover. Even if Eunji came from another woman, Jimin held no hostility. He loved Eunji like his own.

This morning was a dull day. It was winter now, so the days were dull, and sometimes rainy or snowy.

Jimin had gently shaken Jungkook awake. The younger had a very terrible sleep schedule. College took up a lot of his time, even if he stayed at home and did online classes.

"Kookie... Wake up..." Jimin had said in a soft voice, at around seven in the morning. The cries of Eunji could be heard through the baby monitor. Jimin wanted him and Jungkook to wish their baby a happy birthday together.

After a couple seconds, Jungkook stirred awake, a slight trail of drool at the corner of his mouth.

"Huh?" Jungkook voiced out as he woke up on this Saturday morning.

"Baby," Jimin notified. Jungkook took a moment, before his eyes widened.

"Baby!" Jungkook panicked. He skipped brushing his teeth, jumping out of bed as Jimin snickered behind him, but following the younger. Eunji would be fine in her crib, that much Jimin knew. However, that didn't stop Jungkook from panicking each time the baby woke up with a cry. She was probably hungry.

Jungkook raced into the next bedroom, the door opened since they never closed it.

Eunji was in her crib, pacifier left on her side as she held her feet in each of her hands, curling up on her back as she played with her feet. She had stopped crying already.
