Jimin couldn't believe his eyes when he saw his girlfriend kissing another stranger. He hated this. Hated this with a passion. The fact that he trusted her when his gut knew something was wrong. He felt betrayed. Even when he was so tempted to kiss Jungkook earlier, he didn't because he loved this woman. Loved. What was love anyway? He gave her everything he could only for her to break their relationship with a snap of a finger. All it took was for her to be tempted for her to lose everything. Jimin's trust. Their loyalty. Their love. It was all gone over something she accused Jimin of doing.
Jimin couldn't stand to see the sight. He was sure he would throw up the fluids in his empty stomach if he stayed there watching, so he turned around. He couldn't fight with her now. After catching her redhanded, all he wanted to do was leave this toxic relationship. Jimin just wanted someone to love him and take care of him, like he did to her. Was that too much to ask for?
Jimin turned around and walked up to the bar area in the corner of the club. He didn't care if she stumbled upon him now. She was already caught; he already saw her.
With a broken heart and tears welling in his eyes, the blonde walked over to the bar area looking so distraught. He had never thought she'd cheat on him.
He signalled for a bartender to arrive, a female on shift as she approached him, ready to take his order. He was so good looking and anyone would be lucky to have him. Eunha was just the dumbest bitch on earth.
He ordered a whiskey as he sat and waited, uninterested in anything and anyone. He just wanted to drown his sorrows.
And he did. Whiskey after whiskey. When he got tired of that, he went for vodka. He drank whatever he wanted as his thoughts became more and more depressing. He hated this. This pain in his heart.
He felt all sorts of emotions. Anger included. He felt angry, sad, betrayed... But pain more than anything. He would have never dreamed of cheating on Eunha. And Jimin was left to question why she would do this to him on their seven month-versary. It wasn't long but they were so close to one year. Why did she have to hurt him like this?
When eight PM hit, Jimin was already drunk. His speech was slurring and his depression was even more visible as he ignored any stranger who tried to talk to him. His eyes were red too, but that was from crying.
The music in the club did a good job in drowning out the sound of his cries. He wasn't even surprised that she didn't find him there yet. She was too occupied.
Jimin just scoffed to himself as he thought about the sight of Eunha all over another man. Was it because he was too shy? Too quiet? Too submissive for her? Did she need a man who took charge? What was it that made her turn off when she thought of Jimin?
Just then, the next bartender entered as his shift started at eight PM. Jungkook walked into his job, ready for a three hour shift but never did he guess that he'd see his teacher getting wasted at the bar area. His heart immediately began to palpitate. He wondered what happened for his teacher to be here.
The younger was wearing his uniform of a black t-shirt over jeans and an apron with the logo of the club on it. His blackish brown hair was center pathed as he exposed his forehead, his eyes slightly blocked. His tattooed arm was on display as he walked in looking fine as fuck. And oh boy, did he make heads turn.
Jungkook made sure it was Jimin he was seeing and not some ghost before he went over to him. He couldn't see the blonde like this: in such a distraught state.
Jungkook approached the older man who stared down at his empty glass.
"Mr. Park?" Jungkook called, causing the older to look up. And there it was again. That feeling of everything being right and wrong at the same time. That feeling of uncertainty that Jimin had. That feeling of their hearts beating in sync as they looked at each other.
