The classroom was as silent as it could have been. The new teacher couldn't even say good morning before he got angry. The culprit still didn't own up and that just made Jimin angrier.
Suddenly, the class turned their heads towards the back of the class in the first row, the loner at the back of the first row that was in front of Jimin's desk.
Jimin followed everyone's gaze, to meet the tall and dark boy at the back who held a bored expression on his face. It was his mask, of course. Upon his beautiful features and behind the eyes he hid with his long dark brown locks, Jimin could see a hint of arrogance. Great. The worst kind of teenagers.
"Did you spill my coffee?" Jimin asked as he folded his arms across his chest, his toned chest being highlighted by his dark blue dress shirt as his muscles peaked out. The girls stared in between the bad boy and the teacher, waiting for the next response.
"And what if I did?" the bad boy questioned as he raised an eyebrow, an intimidating smirk on his lips as he leaned forward on his desk, arms folded and resting on the wooden structure.
"I'd like to kindly ask you to clean it up before it causes more of a mess," Jimin spoke, his gaze not faltering as he almost had a stare competition with the high schooler.
"But...what if I don't want to?" the younger student said, causing Jimin to see red. He was pissed off but he was a teacher and he had to remain professional. It was his first day after all.
Jimin took a couple calming breaths as the students in the class watched the small banter go on in between the bad boy and the new teacher.
"What's your name?" Jimin asked as he cocked his head to the side almost cynically, as if mocking the bad boy. The younger didn't know what to do so he shrugged before he turned to the class.
"Anyone wanna tell him my name or can we just get on with the lesson?" the troublemaker at the back of the class asked, causing Jimin to roll his eyes. That was a bit unprofessional but he couldn't control that action, especially when this kid had such a shitty attitude.
"I didn't ask them, I asked you. So if you're not going to answer or clean up the coffee then I'll just get the principal over-"
"Jungkook, what's your problem?"
"Stop it, Jeon. You're not being funny right now."
The class erupted in a rant as they blamed Jungkook for angering the new teacher. It was enough for Jimin to pick up the name.
Jeon Jungkook. He'd have to ask around in the staff room during break to see if he was going to be a regular problem.
"Quiet," Jimin raised his voice slightly, causing the class to shut up immediately. Jimin had everyone under his thumb. The older took a moment to glance at everyone's faces, before he looked at the bad boyeveryone's at the back of the class.
"You know what's sad? The fact that it's always the handsome and arrogant ones who have the worst personalities," Jimin stated at the bad boy before he unfolded his arms from his chest and rolled his sleeves higher, before raking his fingers through his silky blonde hair. The class watched him intently before Jimin turned to them again.
Jeon Jungkook, however, was furious. How dare this amateur teacher walk in here and insult him? Technically, it was Jungkook's fault but the younger boy had an arrogance that was built on how everyone fell to their knees for him. As the bad boy, girls loved him and boys feared him. He had it all. And suddenly, the new teacher shut him up with a nasty remark? What was that?
Jimin looked at his class before he spoke.
"Is anyone kind enough to bring me some tissues and some hand sanitizer or something to prevent this from becoming sticky?" Jimin asked with a softer and kinder voice. A bunch of students raised their hands.
