"The most confused we get is when we try to convince our heads something our hearts know is a lie."Oliver moved closer to Raven his face was on the other man's chest. Listening to his deep intakes of breath. He let his hands roam across Raven's stomach loving the warmth the other man radiated.
He was like a furnace, and seeing as how Oliver was freezing nighty percent of the time he couldn't help but sigh contently.
This was like heaven. Screw blankets they should start selling Raven's in the store. He snorted at his thought a soft giggle escaping his lips.
Come get your Russian there perfect space heaters! He covered his mouth to keep from laughing to loudly squinting up at Raven who hadn't moved. He let him self move closer to the Russian chewing his lip slightly as he delicately let his fingers dance across the other mans stomach.
He drifted off and on during the night.
He felt comfortable and warm with Raven but that didn't seem to matter. Oliver couldn't allow himself to truly go to sleep.
He didn't want to be locked in with the nightmares.
No escape.
He didn't want to wake up in a panic or having a melt down. Brandon had dealt with that once and Oliver didn't want to burden the others with all of that.
He shivered chewing slightly as he debated putting his leg around Raven. He didn't want to bother the other man. Or make him uncomfortable in any way.
He didn't get a chance to think however as Raven moved from laying on his side to his back. Pulling Oliver up onto his chest so they were flush together. Oliver froze as Raven's hands moved to rest on his back rubbing up and down soothingly.
His scars were on his back and despite the layers of clothing that kept Raven from truly feeling them Oliver couldn't help but grow a little anxious.
It was weird being so close to someone.
It was kind of nerve-wracking if he was being honest with himself.
"You think to hard," Raven's voice was riddled with sleep. Oliver could feel his chest vibrate against him and it made him shiver shifting awkwardly.
"Sorry." Oliver blurted automatically starting to move. Raven however seemed to have other ideas as he placed his hands on Oliver's waist holding the smaller boy further in place.
"You don't have to apologize kitten," Raven's hand trailed up and down Oliver's body making the shorter boy close his eyes.
He couldn't tell if he loved or hated the other man's touch.
He hated feeling so out of place with his body.
"Sorry," Oliver mumbled again squeezing his eyes shut. "Sorry I didn't mean to-I just-I-"
"Why don't you sleep?" Raven questioned his hand brushed against Oliver's face. Playing with his hair his fingers scraping against his forehead. "What burdens you?"
"I-"
"You don't have to keep everything bundled up. You can talk to me." Raven's voiced was still laced with sleep his eyes closed his hands moving in that comforting motion.
Waiting.
He made it seem like talking was so easy.
It wasn't.
"I-well-I just-"
"Kitten. Take a moment," Raven spoke his voice gentle his accent was soothing when it was like this. Like a warm blanket or fuzzy socks. It was nice.
