Prologue
I'm a curious fella ever since I was a kid. I love exploring and experiencing new things.
Experience is the best teacher— a fact for me.
At my age, 16, I'm currently very curious about extreme sports. I find it boring than reading thick books which most of my friends find unenjoyable.
My heart was booming inside my ribcage. It felt as if it would come out anytime now as the gravity take me while I'm still a thousand feet above the ground.
I screamed my heart out in the air. Before I knew it, I feel relaxed.
Skydiving. Not bad, huh?
I would probably do this once or twice every month. Depende.
Extreme sports are beyond fun!
I'm only sixteen but I know to my self that I can do it, so why not try? Besides, I'm full gear with my parachute and all and my Dad wouldn't allow it in the first place if he knew it's that dangerous for me.
Okay, it's dangerous but still...
"You should've told me to tell you." wika ko bago dirediretsong naupo sa upuan ko. "Seriously?" bahagya kong asik.
"Seriously? How did you enroll-- I mean, may enrollment ba 'yon? Registration? And may age restriction 'yon diba?
"I just told my Dad about it and that's it." balewala kong tugon.
"So maarte, Kyelia," bulong-bulong niya sabay irap. I also rolled my eyes at her and put my bag on my armchair. "Ang damot mo talaga! At least tell me how was it, please." Now, she's begging.
"I almost had seizure during my fall! You know, freefall, I cannot breath and all because of too much air." I just want peace on my morning, for Pete's sake! It's Monday!
"OMG! Really?! It's as scary as it sounds pala, gosh!" si Thelma, sapo pa ang bibig. "But are you okay now?" may bahid ng pag-aalala niyang tanong ngayon. It made me feel guilty a bit.
