The Library [Chapter 5]

Hunter walked to the bookshelves trying to found some interesting book to read.. "Huh, another book about Wild Magic? Ooo" He mumbled, Hunter then looked around to go to a comfortable spot to sit on and read, but sadly edric was in front of him, Hunter then gasped and walked a couple inches away in suprised, he then looked up at the taller boy, Edric smirked at him, "Hiii" Ed greets, Hunter groaned and start to look away from Edric to found a spot to read, "Watcha reading???" Ed said, Hunter looked at him while walking and give him another annoyed look on his face, Edric smiles when Hunter did that, "It's none of your business, Blight" Hunter says, annoyed. He then sits at a chair to read, Edric sits besides him and peaks at the book hunter's trying to read, "A book about Wild Magic? Damn Goldie, didn't knew you're a nerd" He said and giggled, Hunter rolled his eyes and groaned, he then looks at the blight boy and raised his eyebrow, "Why are you following me anyways? You can join your sister there" Hunter said pointing at Emira giggling and running away from someone, "Meh" Ed replied as he looks at Emira. Hunter tried to at least read one paragraph about this book, but Edric keeps on distracting him, well he didn't say anything.. until he says something that got his attention, "You know Goldie, I'm suprised you're still able to stay with me without complaining" He said, Hunter looks confused and mumbled "Huh?", Edric looked at Hunter and put his head on his own hand, "Yeahh, usually I only talk to my sister, since I knew people would probably try to stay away from me because apparently I'm 'aNnoYiNg' " Ed says and proceeds to cross his arms, "Hey.. I had a similar experience, usually people at the Coven would say my voice is annoying, and since the other coven Guards are way older than me, I don't think they'll understand what I'm trying to say,, plus- the Emperor doesn't allow me to talk to other people anyways" Hunter replied and started to frowning, "Huh, maybe we should talk to eachother and get to know about eachother more? How does that sounds" Ed smirks,, "I don't know... I'll probably end up spitting something personal about the Emperor's Coven, plus- there's nothing much to know about me, The human already exposed my real name to you" Hunter replied as he looked at edric and started looking upset, Edric raised his eyebrow and said "Pfft- don't worry, I'll try to stay away from talking about your personal life and the emperor's coven" Ed replied and pets hunter's shoulder, Hunter flinched, he then looked at Edric as he proceeds to say, "Sure.." and mumbled, "Great! I'll give a head start, What's your favorite place in the boiling isle?" Ed questions, Hunter then looked away from Edric, "Well, I don't really have a favorite place, I only go out when I have to work and check out stuff" He says, "Oh dang, that must've been pretty rough for someone who's probably the same age as me" Edric spoke, Hunter then cross his arms, "I'm used to it" He says.. Ed looks a bit upset for him, He then looked away from Hunter and frowned, they were both frowning, but after a few minutes, Hunter looks at Edric, "Honestly Blight, you're not that bad" Hunter compliments him, Edric looks at Hunter suprised, he then smiled at Hunter and started giggling, "Woah there, the Golden Guard? Complementing me?" Ed loudly whispers" they both started softly giggling at eachother, then they stopped and made an eye contact, it was silent but.. they later snapped, it made both of their faces heat up a bit and both then looked at the opposite direction from eachother, it's either because they're embarrassed or... (👉👈..) , well after the heat went down, Edric breaks the silence, "Hey.. instead of reading this bOriNg book, how about we go out to get some fresh air a bit?", Hunter looked at him and nodded as he smiled a little.

They both went outside of the Library, both of them were enjoying the fresh air.. Edric then looked at Hunter, not having any emotions in his face, it's just a plain face, no smiling or annoyed, but Edric smiled as he looked at him, "Heyy.. since we're here, let's try to go somewhere that's not in front of a building-" Ed groaned, Hunter looked at him, 'Sure" He said, Edric grabbed Hunter's hand as he walked somewhere, Hunter was following him since he doesn't really care.

Edric stopped walking, Hunter then looked up seeing trees,bushes and a not so hot place, it was relaxing and calming, then a sound of a Bird chirping breaks the silence, it came from Hunter's pocket, it then came out from the pocket straight to Hunter's Hair, "My guy, did you keep a whole living Animal in your pocket?! I'm suprised it didn't ran away" Edric said, Hunter started to groan and rolled his eyes, "Get off of me, Bird" Hunter said as he shakes his head to get Rascal off from his head, it then leans in Hunter's arm, Hunter stood still and pets the red bird,, a soft smile came out, it made Edric looked suprised, he was about to tell another joke, but waited until Hunter finishes his moment with Rascal. Hunter stopped petting his Palisman, Edric giggled and made Hunter looks at him, "Going soft much?" Ed points at the red bird, That made Hunter's ears turned pink because of embarrassment, "Shut it, Blight" Hunter said trying to get his ears to turn back to normal, "Okay okay, also why do you keep on calling me 'bLigHt' anyways? You knew my name" Ed questions Hunter, "Well maybe if you stopped calling me 'gOldiE' i would start calling you by your name!" Hunter said trying to mock Edric, "You know what- forget it" Edric says as he turned his head around.

Hii !! This chapter should've been longer, but wattpad betrays me and chooses to remove a few paragraphs, which is disappointing AND THE UPSETTING THING IS I DIDN'T COPY AND PASTED IT- I SHOULD'VE KNOWN 😢...
