The Owl House [Chapter 17]

(3rd Person POV)

"See! No way- wait what?!" Hunter's expression came from a smug look to a suprised one.

"Yeah! I'm carrying you to the owl house and there's nothing you can do about it!" Eda chuckles and made a hand flip when she finished talking.

"Luz, you can take Owlbert with king, and I'll take care of this gloomy asshole" Eda mumbled at the end of her sentance but loud enough to make Luz heard it

"Got it! But.. how about you two? How are you guys gonna get home?" Luz asked and points at Matt and Gus who was still in shock of Eda's harpy appearance, later then snapped back to reality,

"Oh Matt will just walk his way to his house, and I have my staff! So we're good" Gus answered her and put another thumbs up.

"Good then!" Luz cheerly grinned putting a smile on her face

"Oh yeah, about going back home- we should probably head back or my dad will probably be worried. So.. I'll see you at school Luz?" Gus says smugly and Mattholomule nodding with him.

"Well... I'll see you guys!" Luz waved at the two boys, Matt and Gus the walked off to a path and slowly dissapears, hopefully they know where they're supposed to go tho!

"We still haven't asked them how did they get here tho!" King says confused,

Luz shrugged it off and says that she'll asked him tommorow which King nodded in agreement, they both then looks back at Eda and Hunter

Hunter was being picked up by Eda in the torso, they were arguing a bit.

"AGH! That hurts!" Hunter screeches,

"Look jerkass I'm trying to hold you the softest way possible calm down!" Eda shouted at the struggling boy who was trying to get off of her arms.

"Pfft- he looks like a grumpy baby!" King wheezed and points at him grinning.

"I can hear you, you piece of rat!" Hunter groaned in anger. King rolled his eyes and looks back at Luz who has Owlbert as a staff on her hands who was ready to fly off this forest.

"Alright! Hope on King!" Luz says and He then proceeded to Hop on Luz's back and hangs into it.

Suddenly, before they flew.. a chirp of a Bird can be lisented from the distance. Luz noticed it and look at where the Bird came from, It was flying to Luz and eventually got on her shoulder.

"Hey I recognized this fella!" King gave the bird a look as Luz looks back at him.

"Yeah! I call him 'Little Rascal' !" Luz grinned and pets the bird as they then slowly flew off from the ground.

The four flew away from the deep forest to the sky, it used to be relaxing but not when you had a very gloomy sad teenager being held to a pretty looking Harpy.

As they got higher to the sky, Hunter gave in and sighed in giving up and just looks at the Owl Lady who was carrying him to her house.

"Finally.." Eda mumbled quietly,

"What? You want me to be grumpy again?" Hunter raised his eyebrow at the harpy looking witch.

"No! Duh.." She shouted which made the teenager flinch.

They've both created a pretty awkward silence for a moment, they didn't get along quite well but Eda still wants to help him with how damaged he is right now.

The four then got higher to the sky, it was calming and relaxing. The awkward silence later became a comfortable one, with soothing air blewing their hair softly and made their body quite relaxed.
