ELOISE MICHAELS
"Another vision. Ok, Eloise. Slow down and take a deep breath," Enzo said, inhaling sharply, guiding me to follow his lead.
Reluctantly I did, not feeling much difference.
"Just like that. Good girl," Lorenzo complimented.
"Really, Lorenzo? Not right now," I scoffed, turning to walk away.
"You're right. That was out of line. I'm sorry," Enzo spoke lowly.
I roll my eyes and return to the empty spot across from him, making sure to keep a relative distance between us.
"Now. What did you see?"
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't be bothering you with this," I sighed, shaking my head.
"Oise. We promised to always be there for each other, together or not," Lorenzo reminded me, his eyebrows unfurrowing as he looked into my eyes.
"I was in the corridor, excatly over there. Students were screaming and there were death eaters. I saw Hermoine and Ron running frantically and Ginny mentioned Lucille being safe with me," I told him, picking at the sides of my fingernails.
"Did you see anything else?" He questioned.
"That's all I could make of it," I muttered.
"Well, Lucille was with you. That must ease your anxiousness somewhat?" Lorenzo offered.
"I just don't know what to do with that information. The death eaters are coming to invade. Do you think Draco knows anything?"
"If Draco knew, I don't think he would let Lucille or really, any of our friends remain on school grounds," Lorenzo suggested.
"There must be something I can do. I could warn somebody?-"
Lorenzo quickly interrupted me, "Oise. I think this is what your mother meant when she said this gift can make you feel powerless. We can warn our friends but really there's no one you can trust who could stop this".
"I know," I choked.
In the distance, I spot the familiar flicker of platnium blonde hair turning the corner.
"When you return to your dorm tonight, please find a way to warn Blaise. We can't risk speaking at dinner," I rush to say, before running after Draco.
"Malfoy!" I shouted, suprising him as he turned to see me.
He looked worse than ever before.
His usually pale complextion had only faded lighter, the space under his eyes occupied with heavy eye bags.
His hair. Messy, unwashed and probably hadn't seen a hairbrush for many days.
But my rage and fear blinded my empathy for him.
I come close to his face, our lips just inches from each other.
"I'm not sure how far along you are in your task and I don't know what of Voldemort's plans you are aware but so help me Merlin, if something happens or WILL happen and you don't warn our friends, I will never forgive you," I sneered.
"How could you think I wouldn't try and make sure you're all safe," Malfoy scoffed, yet a small flicker of sadness washed over his demeanour.
"I'm just saying. If you broke up with Lucille for this but fail to warn us BEFORE anything happens, I won't be able to forgive that," I whispered. "I saw that the death eaters will enter Hogwarts".
"You saw?"
"Talk to Narcissa if you need to know more," I sighed. "Draco, I truly do love you".
"I get it, you're scared. Don't you think I am too? Fucking hell, I didn't want this!" He spoke quietly, but harshly.
