ELOISE MICHAELS
SEPTEMBER 1998
Since the war, the court hearing and all the other events of this year, a lot has changed. Our group had finally found peace again.
I decided to move back to home to my parents and most nights, Lorenzo would join me in the peaceful serenity of the Michaels' manor. After much convincing to my father of course who still believed Lorenzo and I holding hands would send him into a stroke.
He's mostly kidding.
I think.
Lorenzo and I are the best we've ever been. We decided to spend a few weeks before his 18th birthday travelling Europe. We went everywhere you could possibly imagine.
Greece was my personal favourite. We decided that would be our spot to holiday. When we have children, we'll take them there. It'll become a tradition.
After my confession about Levi, I believe it solidified the bond between us, extending outside of trauma and history.
Blaise moved back to his home too and Onyx joined him. I think he agreed with me that we should be back with our families.
Lucille lived between the Burrow and manor but the Slytherin group still saw each other every day.
We have all been helping Mumsy renovate the manor. She was sick of the dreary feeling that the house beamed.
We have been painting walls, replacing furniture. Narcissa replaced the cold tiles with wooden floors and trimmed the hedges into fancy designs and shapes. It was like the coldness of the manor was finally lifting off.
In celebration Lorenzo and Draco's 18th birthday, Narcissa held a big party in the manor and everyone was smiling and laughing like old times. Hogwarts students of all houses came to celebrate. Which if you had told me a year ago that Gryffindor students, specifically Harry Potter was partying in the Malfoy's house-. I would have thought you were lying.
Lorenzo and I were so drunk that night, we accidentally ended up having sex in Draco's bed while everyone else was downstairs.
Safe to say that Draco was not happy when he found out a couple weeks later; almost vomited and threw his blankets in the bin.
Dramatic I think.
My mother came over regularly to help with the painting. Narcissa chose to paint the walls a warm red-wine colour to make the house feel more 'homey'.
My mother has also been helping me practice my powers, monitoring my mannerisms and guiding me through my visions when present. I'm grateful to say that recently, I hadn't seen anything life altering as such in the past.
Except for one I had of Lucille.
She looked happy. She looked bright. She looked young.
But she was holding a baby?
A baby that was a splitting image between herself and Draco.
I had a feeling of what this meant but given their most recent miscarriage, I chose to keep it to myself.
Added good news is Lucius and Narcissa's divorce recently was finalised legally. Realistically however, I think she knew her marriage had ended years ago.
In fact, a few days after the hearing, she performed the 'Reducto' spell on her wedding ring.
"Ok, Mum just place it on top of the box," Draco directed.
