Chapter 4: You make me feel a certain way.

[BEFORE WE GET INTO THIS CHAPTER, I JUST WANTED TO THANK WHOEVER VOTED ON CHAPTER TWO OF MY FANFIC!! THAT MADE MY DAY, AND ALSO THANK YOU TO THE 50 PEOPLE WHO VIEWED MY FANFIC FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH, AND LET'S GET INTO THE NEXT CHAPTER!! (btw since I forgot to update for the last fourish days I'll be writing at least two chapters for you all today :D)]

Maybe he does have feelings for Kel...thinking about it he's always thought about him a bit differently than Aubrey. The feeling of Kel's hand in his when they were just kids running around the playground. But. What if Kel doesn't like him? What if he's just moving on too quickly? Sunny sighed and sat at the table after cleaning. Kel walked in the door with arms full of groceries "Honey I'm home!"Kel said like those guys coming home from works in the stereotypical movies. It brought a blush to the pale boy's face as he rushed to the door to help "Why'd you get so much?" Sunny asked trying his best to ignore what Kel had said, It was a joke anyway. "Well, why not? Plus most of it is some random Halloween candy I found on sale-" Kel laughed to himself before pulling out a bag of candy corn and opening it to eat a few. Sunny on the other hand started cooking. After he had gotten out of the hospital Hero taught him how to cook some, It was fun. 

While Sunny cooked Kel and he talked. They got to talking about what happed with Aubrey and all that. And after quite a bit they were all packed up and ready to head to their spot. Sunny grabbed the picnic basket and Kel grabbed Sunny's hand and of course, Kel seemed to drag Sunny all the way there. The boys sat where they had usually had picnics growing up. Sunny smiled as he started unpacking everything. "Ya know...I wish she were still here. She'd be so proud of all of us...if I hadn't just-" Sunny began before getting interrupted by Kel "Hey hey hey- shhh. I understand how hard this is but it isn't your fault." Kel just grabbed Sunny into a hug, rubbing the raven-haired boy's back. Sunny hugged back too and nodded a bit, breathing in some of the nice fall air. 

Kel decided to change the subject "So Sunny, thinking of going to the high school this year?" It took Sunny a moment to think about this. He hadn't been around that many people since Mari was around. It seemed scary. It was scary. "Ya know Sunny. I can see if we can get some classes together. That would be nice right? We could do this together." Kel added. Sunny felt the blood rushing to his cheeks once again before nodding "Y-Yeah. I'll try. We can do it...together." Sunny smiled a bit before Kel brought a hand to his hair to play with it "You can do this Sunny." The boys stayed like that a while. In each other's arms with one of Kel's hands playing with Sunny's fluffy hair. They could be there for hours if they could. But of course, not every good moment is going to have an undisturbed ending. 

Aubrey walked in with Kim at that, their timing is almost too perfect. The two girls of course spotted the boys. Aubrey speaking up first. "Moved on already Sunsun?" She said in almost a playful tone. Sunny's head peaked up and he made eye contact with her before moving away from Kel slightly "N-No. Me and Kel were just enjoying a nice day and-" Aubrey interrupted him before he explained "Oh come on! It's obvious Kel likes you and you have a thing for him too." She maintained that playful tone while Kim just stood by her munching on some candy the pink-haired girl had gotten her as a gift. Kel huffed and quickly replied to her "I don't like him okay! I know you're only joking but can you just quit it!" Aubrey knew the lies in Kel's tone, but she left it alone. "Whatever you say Kelp dude." She grinned and went to the other side of the spot with Kim.

Sunny on the other hand just sat there a moment. He'd never admit he was upset. He wished Kel did like him a little but maybe Aubrey had a point. Maybe he shouldn't move on so quickly. He should be more upset about Aubrey breaking up with him. Sunny and Kel sat quietly and finished their food before going their separate ways home. Little did they know this would be the last they talked till school started back up four days later...how will it go?
