"Are you sure you're okay with me sitting with you and you're friends? You know I don't want to be like Edward and control you right?"Beau asked, Angela practically dragging him to the table with her friends.
"Yes." She said, sitting beside Jessica, motioning for Beau to sit in the seat between herself and Mike which he reluctantly did, Edward and Bella sitting across the table.
"All right, check it out. All right. Let's see, we got. 'My fellow students.' Right? Right? 'We are the future. Anything is possible if you just believe." Mike said Beau assumed he was attempting to help Jessica with her valedictorian speech. Angela had informed Beau that the Stanley girl was a valedictorian at an early stage in their relationship.
"Nice," Angela commented.
"Blah. Blah. Blah. And you got yourself a speech." Mike said, sliding the notepad over to Jessica. Beau glanced at Edward who was staring at Angela's arm, where a small, hardly noticeable to the human eye bruise was, and then at Beau, his eyes narrowing knowingly. Beau closed his eyes in annoyance, grabbing Angela's hand, Angela glancing at him, taking note of Beau's annoyance and Edward's gaze, she glanced between the two before paying attention to Jessica again, after all, it probably wasn't her business.
"No, that'll be my speech when I want everyone to throw diplomas at my head. So, thank you." Jessica wadded the paper up into a ball and threw it at Mike's head.
"You gotta embrace the cliches, Jess," Mike told her.
"They are the bread and butter of all valedictorians." Eric said, Mike pointing at him with a 'see' look.
"Hmm. And that is why you are not valedictorian." Angela told Eric, a small amused smile forming on Beau's lips.
"Jess doesn't need cliches. This speech is gonna be epic." Bella cut in, Beau mentally rolling his eyes, he still couldn't stand her, not after she almost killed Angela.
"Epic? It'll change lives." Just then Alice and Jasper sat down, Jasper sending Angela a small smile which she returned.
"I've decided to throw a party," Alice said a bright smile on her face.
"After all, how many times are we gonna graduate high school?" Jasper asked, Angela and Beau sharing an amused look.
"A party? At your house? I've never seen your house." Jessica said, looking between the 4 adopted siblings.
"No one beside's Angela and Bella has ever seen their house," Eric told her.
"Another party, Alice?" Edward asked, Beau rolling his eyes, Angela's grip on his hand tightening in an attempt to calm his growing irritation with Edward and Bella.
"It'll be fun," Alice told him.
"Yeah. That's what you said last time." Bella said, glancing between Beau and Jasper.
"Oh please! Like it wasn't Edward's fault!" Angela snapped at her as Alice slumped back in her seat, getting a vision. Angela's outburst surprised everyone at the table.
"What happened last time?" Mike questioned obliviously.
Beau reached across the table, Alice placing her hand on his, the vision playing out in Beau's mind as well as hers, Edward seeing the vision from both of their minds. Angela and Bella both distracted Mike, Eric, and Jessica long enough for Alice and Beau to blink, coming back to reality, Jasper, Alice, Beau, and Edward shared a look.
Beau had his arms wrapped around Angela's waist, the two slowly swaying back and forth, Beau placing small kisses on Angela's hand every few minutes. "What did Alice see?" Angela asked, Beau sighing.
"Victoria." Angela nodded, the look on Beau's face confusing her.
"I saw her." Beau admitted. Angela looked at him, pure confusion.
"What do you mean you saw her?" Angela questioned, the look of annoyance on her face clear.
"When we were dancing, at prom." Beau clarified. Angela's annoyance disappearing. "After I said I love you for the first time."
Angela nodded, Beau reaching one of his hands into his pocket and pulling out a small velvet ring box.
"I thought we said no presents," Angela said, eyeing the box.
Beau just smiled and handed her the box, Angela opening it to see a dainty silver band with a few pink stones in the shape of a flower. "Happy graduation," Beau said, Angela taking the ring out of the box and sliding it onto her pointer finger, wrapping her arms around Beau again the two beginning to sway back and forth again. "My family and I are leaving not too long after graduation. Bella's going to turn so we have to leave, I can come with you to college or we can try long distance." Beau said, Angela looking up at him.
"Would you ever turn me?" Angela asked curiously. Beau pondered on this for a moment, yes he loved her as a human, but he's not sure if he could handle having to watch her die one day, but it also wasn't his choice.
"Only if you want me to, and you're sure about it." Beau told her, pausing for a moment. "I just want you to experience as much of your human life as you can, as much of it as you want to."
"Would you really come to college with me?" Angela asked, Beau nodding.
"I would follow you anywhere." Beau told her softly.
"Well, then I guess we're going to college." Angela smiled, Beau placing a kiss on her forehead.
