"Seattle is in a state of terror. Police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances."Angela scooted closer to Beau as the news reporter spoke, Beau wrapping his arm around her in a protective manner, he knew he wouldn't let anything happen to Angela, even if he died to protect her. "Theories range from a vicious new gang to a wildly active serial killer." Beau let out a quiet laugh just as Bella and Edward walked into the room, Edward glaring at Beau who made good on his promise to not watch Bella.
"It's getting worse. We're going to have to do something." Carlisle said, turning the tv off.
"It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting. Quite a few more. And they're undisciplined, conspicuous." Jasper explained, Angela looking at Beau with a confused look.
"It's newborns," Beau said, standing up from the couch.
"What, like new vampires?" Bella asked, Beau nodding his head.
"In the first few months after the change." Beau clarified.
"That's when we're at our most uncontrollable. Vicious. Insane with thirst." Jasper explained further.
"Something to look forward to," Emmett said, looking between Bella and Angela.
Angela shook her head no. "I-I don't know if I want to turn."
"No one's trained these newborns, but this isn't random," Jasper said.
"Someone's creating an army," Carlisle said.
Emmett stood up from the back of the couch, jumping onto the floor. "Well, now we're definitely going to Seattle."
"An army of vampires?" Bella questioned.
"And they've been created to fight someone," Jasper said, looking at Bella.
"We're the only clan even close to Seattle," Edward said.
