Beau let out a small laugh as Emmett was flung backward, sliding across the ground. "Again!" He said as he stood up, he was getting frustrated, that much was obvious. Just then Edward and Bella arrived in Emmett's jeep, both getting out and walking over to the rest of the Cullen family, as the wolves arrived. Beau pulled Angela closer, the wolves looking around hesitantly.
"They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms," Edward said, looking at Carlisle.
"They came. That's what matters." Carlisle said. "Will you translate?" He asked Edward, moving towards the wolves, Edward doing the same. "Welcome. Jasper has experience with newborns. He'll teach us how to defeat them."
"They want to know how the newborns differ from us," Edward told Carlisle who began explaining.
"They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Carlisle then turned to Jasper, who nodded before moving forward.
"Carlisle's right. That's why they are created. A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army, but no human army could stand against them. Now, the two most important things to remember are, first, never let them get their arms around you. They'll crush you instantly. And second, never go for the obvious kill. They'll be expecting that, and you will lose. Beau." Jasper turned around, Angela moving to stand beside Rosalie while Beau moved a couple of feet away from Jasper.
"Ready to lose?" Jasper asked Beau in a teasing tone.
Beau smiled in a teasing manner, joking back. "Never."
Jasper and Beau ran at each other, Jasper grabbing Beau and flinging him towards a tree, Beau disappeared in mid-air, Jasper looking around for him before a body came crashing into his, Beau stood up, holding a hand out to Jasper, who took it and pulled himself up. Jasper took this as an opportunity and flipped Beau on his back. Jasper turned, ready to strike but Beau was gone. Jasper slowly moved, soundless. Beau snuck up behind Edward, holding his shoulder to copy her power before disappearing again.
