Chapter 17 : Backstories

Sunghoon got into the dorm with someone."Niki thank you again for helping me carry these bags."I heared someone saying while they were in the kitchen.I was in the bathroom getting myself a little bit to calm down.I already went trough such stuff one time,I can do it another time..right?Im not weak,I'm stronger..

"Is he busy or why didn't you called him to help you?"I heared Niki asking Sunghoon."Well his heat starts soon and It's bad for him to carry heavy stuff.I don't exactly know how he is so I bought him all kinds of ice cream,mostly mint cho-"

I stormed outside and jumped on Sunghoons bag while purring loudly.He got me mint chocolate ice cream!Woa!

"Well Jake was right."Sunghoon turned red when Niki started giggling."I meet up with Jay Hyung,we go for a hunt.Do you guy's need something from the city?"

I was already eating ice cream so I shook my head."Yea could you bring me these..how do you call them?"

Sunghoon made weird gestures but looks like Niki understood it."Oh the thingi,the wow and then puff,after that everyone is awww and ooohhh."

Sunghoon raised his eyebrows confused.
"Ah ah! Fairy lights!"I spit out.Niki clapped his hand.It was easy to understand him but Sunghoon seemed confused."How did yo-"

Niki made a 'shut up' gesture when he turned to Sunghoon fully again."Thats what you call a good friendship between Omegas and Betas."I agreed.

Niki said his goodbye before Sunghoon closed the door."So,what do you want to eat besides mint chocolate ice cream."he asked me.Hmmmmmmm..Hmmmmm

"I will surprise you then."he chuckled before he started cutting vegetables.

"Between,what happened with the crying Alpha and why didn't you answered my questions trough mind-link anymore."

I wish I could tell him what happened but I don't trust him yet..not when my heat is coming so soon.

"Oh nothing,just heartbroken and I had stomachache so I couldn't answer properly."I lied.He came closer and started rubbing my stomach."I heared heats are worser then ruts."

I thought about it what we learned in class.They said Heats are more difficult then Ruts.While he continued to prepare food I casually answered him."Well I'm not too sure,Heats are very difficult to handle,especially without a mate but I think Ruts hurts more without having a mate."

Sunghoon nodded.One thing that I lobed about him was that he listened closely to whatever I say.He always responses right away without to hesitate."Did you ever had a Mate Sunghoon?"

Thats the thing I regretted to say today.His mood immediately dropped and he started letting some pheromones out that showed how sad he was.His Mate must have died or left him.What a cruel world,who would leave Sunghoon?

"Can I go along with Niki and Jay to the city and forest?"Jake asked me.Yes he's older but we always agreed on asking each other before we go somewhere."Yea but stay close to them and watch out,some Alphas hurt Sunghoon there."

Sunghoon,right."I had an Omega.An Omega as my mate 2 years ago."he whispered so quietly that I needed to move closer to him and by that I meant I now sat on the kitchen counter next to him.He was cutting potatoes."He cheated on me.We were together for about 4 years."he admitted and now I felt bad.

"Can we talk about something else?I don't want to mention my ex while I cook for an Omega who is now in my life.My ex is since a long time not apart of me anymore so I don't want to mention him."

I understood and accepted his request.
Must have been hell knowing your Mate cheated on you after 4 years being in a relationship."The Alpha who bought me.He had a Wife but she couldn't get pregnant..he left her on the same day after he brought me home."I started speaking about my trauma,trying to make Sunghoon feel better by sharing it.

"His Wife was really pretty.She was over 30 but looked sooo young."I giggled when I remembered her beutiful face."She was mad at him but not at me."I looked down.
"I ruined her relationship and her dreams at the same time my future was ruined."

Sunghoon gave me a glare."Your future isn't ruined and like I said.I won't let any Alpha hurt you in that way again.Yiu deserve someone who can love you and treat you like you deserve to get treated like."he blushed."Besides that,you didn't ruined her life.I'm sure she's very thankful to you."

Is she thankful?

Maybe but that wasn't an excuse of what I did..or needed to do..

I wish,I just wish everything would be easier but right now,I have Sunghoon and thats what I may have needed the most...
