Toto Wolff glared at his daughter from across the table, which looked very fun as he was carrying a sleepy Emilia in his arms. Sighing Susie got up from the table and cleared the dishes. She was sick and tired of the them acting like literal children. She'd invited Zara and Max over to lunch but Toto had refused to have the Dutch bit in his house. Understanding that Zara and Toto needed to talk things through, Max decided to spend the day with his friends. Now his girlfriend was having a stare off with her father, having bit said a word to him since she walked through the door.

"OK that's it! The two of you are going to sit out on the patio and talk about everything. And I won't let you in until you have sorted this out or one of you kills one another. Now give me the baby and go!"
Susie shouted as she stepped out of the kitchen. The tension was suffocating and all this negative energy was not good for the kids.

The two Wolffs grumbled as they went to fund a shaded spot on the patio overlooking the sparkling ocean.

"I'm disappointed."
Zara sharply turned her head to look at her dad.

"For what?"

"You switched sides so easily. All of a sudden you're not greeting my staff in the paddock. When was the last time you even came over just to say hello. Don't even get me started on how you didn't even bring my granddaughter to see me in Austria and then of course you didn't even back us up after Silverstone. "

"How could I back you up when my boyfriend almost died!? Do you know how scared I was watching that happen!? I almost lost the love of my life and all you care about is my changes in loyalty. When was the last time you called me just to check up on me or e en the granddaughter that you claim to love so much!? I'm trying dad, I really am. But do you know how hard it is to deal with a new born and occasionally a toddler while my boyfriend risking his life thousands of miles away from where I am? I'm struggling to keep it together, lord knows how many times Sophie has found me crying in the living room because I feel so overwhelmed all the time. "
Toto felt a pit of guilt forming in his stomach as Zara spoke. He'd been so caught up in his work drama to notice how his daughter was struggling.

"I'm sorry. It's just that the rivalry got so much worse this year and I might have taken your involvement with Max a little to personal. I know that I can't expect you to do everything in this relationship when you have a newborn baby relying on you 24/7. I need to do better, gosh I need to fix my relationship with your brother as well. I didn't even know that he'd been accepted at Cambridge until Nico told me. I'm sorry for not being there more for you guys. "
Zara softly smiled at her father as she got up to hug him.

"It'll be okay. We just need to work through it together. I love you dad. "

"I love you too sunshine. "
Zara giggled at the nickname that she hadn't heard since she was a child.

Two hours later Zara returned home, Emi in her stroller looking around in wonder and occasionally gurgling letting her mom know that she was still very much awake. She'd even let out a few babbles, something she enjoyed since figuring out how her voice works. Zara replied with soft coos as she searched for her keys in her handbag. Eventually she found them just as her phone began pinging rapidly.

After she'd gotten into her apartment and put Emilia in her play pen she opened her phone find dozens of texts. She decided to open. The ones from the girls group first as they were most likely already discussing whatever topic had been going viral.
