"Emersyn Tala do not put that in your mouth! Emilia for the love of God don't eat your boogers!"
Max was frustrated as he tried to get his children out of the house in time to get to the arena before it became crowded with fans.

The world champion was currently enjoying his winter break in London while his wife ended off her tour in the UK. This would be her final performance of the tour, she'd only return to performing during summer festival season. The couple had created a schedule that would benefitted their children more than themselves. Zara would make sure that she was available for every European grand prix so she could take the children with her, Max equally would often stay with the children during Zara's tours. Regardless of where they were they always tried to make it possible for their children to come with them.

Which explains Max's predicament as he listens to his daughter babble about her Karting adventure with Lando and Daniel. The McLaren drivers had taken her karting for a YouTube video and the two year old genuinely enjoyed it. Zara was less than happy as they'd only said that they were taking her out for a Build-a-bear date, only for her to return with messy helmet hair and begging her mother to allow her to kart.

"And and."
Emi was cut off by her brothers squeal, making her send him a glare.

"Rude!"
She responded pointing her finger at him.

Max laughed at how much she looked like her mother in that moment.

"No!"
Replied her brother, setting off a war of babbling and screeching.

"I really don't know how Zara deals with this."
Max muttered to himself.

Whenever his wife was around their children acted like angels and listened to her every word. Even when he would FaceTime them from across the world, they'd behave and would act like the sweetest children. What Max didn't know is that they only behaved because they knew that screeching and tantrums had no affect on their mother, therefore they were forced to voice their emotions. Max on the other hand babies them and would buckle at the sight of a single tear.

"Thank God we're here!"

Emi once again screeched as she saw the familiar sight of the arena which she'd been running around for the past week.

"Mama!"
Emersyn squealed as he recognized the building which he'd recently associated with his mother.

"Yes Kleintjes we're here to see mommy sing."
Zara's assistant and part time nanny, Sonja, approached the three Verstappens to help Max get through the bustle of the arena. With two hours to go until the main acts would hit the stage, the backstage was chaotic as multiple checks were being done and assistants were sent to look for missing earrings and mics.

Once they'd made it through the chaos, which was difficult as Emilia wanted to stop and greet everyone that she came across, they found Zara mid vocal warm up. The blonde singer instantly stopped her preparations at the sound of her children calling her name. The sound of their voices and laughter would always be her favourite song. Her vocal coach quickly dismissed her knowing that she wouldn't be able to do much now.

"Oh my babies! I missed you!"

"You literally saw them three hours ago."
Her husband reminded her.

"Notice how I said I missed my children and not you."

"Yikes Max, she's still got you by the balls after all this time."
At the sound of Victoria's voice the children once again showed their excitement as they knew that their cousins were with her.
