Y'all aren't ready for this chapter. It is probably my favorite chapter that I have written so far!
Dinner ran smoothly for the most part. Stares were common, particularly from the the Gryffindor table where my friends sat, not understanding why I was spending time with Severus. I no longer cared what they thought. Severus looked toward me, bringing his fingers to his temple, lightly tapping. I nodded before allowing him into my mind. Your Gryffindor friends are looking again. Want to give them a show? I heard his voice say in my head.
What do you mean? I asked him.
I'm tired of them always being on you about our friendship. They constantly assume we are in a relationship so I wondered if you wanted to give them a show?
I smirked, looking at him curiously. What do you have in mind, Mr. Snape?
Do you trust me? His smooth voice asked in my head.
With my life, Sev. I smiled at him before hearing his voice in my head once more.
Then let the show begin, he replied as he slowly lifted his hand to my cheek and brought his lips to my ear, whispering to me. "Are they still watching, darling?" I looked up, noticing Sirius gripping his fork tightly, his knuckles turning white. I chuckled lowly, turning my face toward his ear.
"I think Sirius might snap his fork if we continue," I replied, whispering in his ear.
"Then, by all means, let's continue," he responded. "By now they probably think we are making plans to sneak away. Let's leave the Great Hall and if they follow, we'll really give them a show." I chuckled at his devious plan as we stood up and left the Great Hall. We walked down the corridor and turned a corner, hiding in a small nook.
"By now, they are probably checking their little map," I laughed. Severus's eyes brightened as he realized what this meant. "So... this means... they are seeing you and me..." he leaned closer, whispering in my ear. "...in a dark corridor... standing super close together... whatever will they think we are doing?"
"Oh, they'll think exactly what we want them to think," I whispered as we heard the shuffle of feet heading toward us.
"Wanna give them a show?" he asked me, pressing his body closer to mine. I nodded, wrapping my arms around his neck. The shuffling of feet stopped and I knew they were standing on the other side of the corridor, peaking around and watching. Severus brought his lips to my jaw and pressed gentle kisses against my skin, trailing kisses down my neck.
"What the hell..." I heard someone whisper from the hallway. I chuckled as Severus's lips brushed against my ear once more.
"Mmm, you taste heavenly, darling," he said, just loud enough for them to hear. I moaned as his lips continued to move against my skin. Damn, Severus, I chuckled in my head, still communicating with him. You weren't kidding when you said you wanted to put on a show.
No I wasn't darling. Ready for the main event? I felt adrenaline rush through my body as his words filled my head. I had no idea what he was planning but excitement filled my body. I nodded and he instantly pushed my body against the wall, his hand gently resting against my throat.
"So, you thought you could look that gorgeous in the Great Hall and I wouldn't want to drag you away? Hmm? You thought you could just walk in there looking that ravishing and I wouldn't pull you away? Well, you thought wrong, darling."
"Severus..." I moaned.
"What, darling? Use your words."
"Why'd you pull me away?"
