 "Yes."

That was all the confirmation he needed to pull my body against his, his hand resting on the back of my neck as he pressed his lips to mine. His tongue swiped my bottom lip, asking for entrance, which I happily allowed. His tongue explored my mouth as his hands roamed my body. We pulled away, breathless, as he cupped my cheek and stared into my eyes.

"Woah," he breathed.

I chuckled, not knowing what to say, as I looked down. He instantly lifted my chin, his eyes locking with mine.

"There's no need to be shy, pup. I've liked you for a while... I was just too afraid to say anything... Do you... uhm... What I wanted to ask is... Would you like to go out with me?"

"You're cute when you're flustered, Padfoot."

"Quiet, little one."

I laughed as he pulled me into a hug, resting his chin on the top of my head.

"So... is that a yes?" he asked, pulling away and searching my eyes.

"Yes, Padfoot. It's a yes," I chuckled.

He breathed a sigh of relief before pulling me closer, pressing his lips to mine once again. It was a different feeling from when I kissed Severus, though it still filled me with warmth as Sirius held me.

A moment later, claps and cheering spread through the room as our friends entered the room.

"Well, it's about time!" Remus exclaimed, pulling Sirius and I in for a hug. He pulled away before turning to me. "Sirius hasn't shut up about you since we met you."

"Moony!" Sirius exclaimed, his face going red.

"Aww, Sirius! You really looovve me, don't you?"

"Quiet, pup!"

Laughter and cheers filled the room as Sirius pulled me in to kiss me again.

"Geez, let the girl breathe once in a while, Padfoot," James said, laughing.

Sirius pulled away from the kiss but kept his arm around my waist.

"It's about bloody time, though. Good work, Padfoot. You finally got the girl!" James exclaimed as Sirius went redder.

"You should double date with Lily and I," James said as he smirked.

"What!? You finally got Lily to go out with you?"

"Yup, she said yes earlier but I was waiting for the right time to tell you guys."

"You guys will be cute together," I said, watching as Lily blushed.

"So, I guess we were wrong, huh? There really wasn't anything going on between you and Snivellus," James said.

"James... Please don't."

"What? I'm just admitting we were wrong. We never should've thought there was anything going on between you two."

Sirius could feel me growing angry and he stepped in between James and I.

"Now, now, you two. Can't we just be happy that we both found someone that makes us happy?"

James and I nodded before laughter filled the room once again. Sirius leaned down to whisper in my ear.

"I love you, Y/n. I should have told you sooner, but... I love you."

"I love you too, Sirius."
