Hogwarts Express (George and Fred)

You're running through the train station following your older brother, Brandon. He's a third year Ravenclaw, just like your mom, while your dad was a Gryffindor. You make it through the concrete pillar in between platforms 9 and 10, and your brother helps you get your luggage to the right area. He helps you onto the train and you both start making your way to his friends until you spot two red haired boys through a window.

"Hey Brandon, I think I'm going to try to make some friends" you say to your brother

"Are you sure y/n?"

"Yeah! I'm good."

"Okay sis, I'll be a few doors down if you need me" Brandon says with a smile

You nod and open the door to the carriage, "um, excuse me?"

The boys look up at you with curious looks, "Do you mind if I join you in here?"

One looks at his twin, looks back at you and smiles saying "Not at all, I'm Fred and this is George"

"Hi! I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you both! Are you first years too?" You ask

The other nods, George I think, "We are! So Y/n do you have any siblings?"

"I do! I have an older brother, his name's Brandon, he's in Ravenclaw. What about you two?" You ask

"We have three older brothers" Fred says

"One younger brother and one younger sister" George finishes

"All three of our brothers are in Gryffindor" they say at the same time

You look at them amused and giggle, "Do you do that alot?"

"What?" They say in unison

You laugh "Finish each other's sentences and talk at the same time?" You laugh again

"Yeah I guess" they say again

You smile brightly and giggle, "I like that!"

They both smile at you, "So Y/n, what house do you want to be in?" George asks

"Yeah, do you want be in Ravenclaw with your brother?" Fred asks

"Actually, I'd love to be a Gryffindor like my dad! My brother is super smart which is why he's probably in Ravenclaw like my mom was but I'm more like my dad, so I'd love to follow in his footsteps." You say with a smile on your face

"Well Georgie, I think we just found ourselves a new friend"

"I think we did Freddie"

They both look at you with smiles on their faces, and you smile back.

The three of you laughed and joked throughout the whole train ride. You stuck together while walking down through the corridors of the giant castle and stood next to each other at the front of the Great Hall. Professor McGonagall was spouting her speech about the sorting hat and the houses when you and the twins were interrupted from your giggling when you heard Freddie's name get called.

"Good luck" you and George say at the same time

Fred walks up confidently to the stool and sits on it. The hat is placed on his head, "Ah a new Weasley. I know exactly where to put you. GRYFFINDOR!" The hat yells and Fred gets up with a smirk on his face, while you and George clap excitedly and the whole Gryffindor table cheers.

"George Weasley" Professor McGonagall says over the ruckus

You look at George, who seems to be a bit nervous, "Go Georgie, go! Good luck!" You say and he throws you a smile

He sits on the stool and takes a deep breath as the hat is placed on his head, you subconsciously cross your fingers for George. "Another Weasley? Well I'm sure you know where I'm putting you" the hat pauses "GRYFFINDOR" the hat yells.

George smiles big and looks at you, you have a huge smile on your face and are clapping excitedly for your new friend! George walks over to the loud table where he high fives Fred!

A few more names are called before you hear Professor McGonagall, "Y/n Y/l/n"

You look up nervously and slowly make your way to the stool. You see your brother smiling brightly in you direction from the Ravenclaw table and you smile back and then your focus gets taken by your new friends at the Gryffindor table. Both are smiling brightly and hold up crossed fingers for you and you giggle. You feel the hat being placed on your head and you take a deep breath.

"Difficult, you are Miss Y/l/n. Clever you are but also, brave and daring" it states, you close your eyes nervously. You start to panic as it seems like it's taking forever for your answer. Then you hear it, "GRYFFINDOR" you open your eyes with the biggest smile on your face, your brother looks at you proudly as you make your way to the Gryffindor table and your two new friends engulf you in a gigantic hug. Yeah, you think, I'm right where I belong.
