Secret (Sirius Black)

"James!" I yelled as I stormed into the compartment the marauders were in, I could feel the heat coming off of my body from the embarrassment.

All four boys started laughing at my state, my hair was sticking up straight and now colored blue instead of my usual h/c. I stood right in front of my twin brother as he laughed even harder at the anger radiating off of me.

"I swear to Godric Gryffindor himself that if you don't fix this," pointing to my hair, "I will strangle you with my bare hands."

"Aww, I think it suits you Y/n/n" Sirius said with a cheeky smirk

My angered gaze now zeroed in on Sirius, making the laughter calm down.

"You pranked me while I was in the middle of being asked out by McMillan, you literally ruined my chances of going on a date with someone."

James' smile faultered for a moment, "I'm sure he will still ask you out"

"No, he won't! He literally laughed so hard that he walked away from me James! Fix it right now or I swear I will make sure Evans never looks in your direction again."

His eyes shot up to mine, seeing if I would actually do it. I turned around to look at Remus, who had a giant smirk on his face from my threat. Remus took out his wand, performing the counter spell, I looked down at my hair. It was finally back to its usual length and color.

I jumped on Remus's lap, giving him a giant hug that he returned.

"This is why you're my favorite"

"Hey!" I heard James and Sirius say at the same time

I laughed as I settled myself in between Remus and Peter.

"How was your summer boys?" I patted Remus and Peter's thighs so they knew I was talking to them, completely missing the look Sirius sent to them because of where my hands had been.

Peter began talking about the little adventures his parents took him on, and Remus told me about all of the books he had read throughout the summer. It was nice being back with my favorite group after the long summer break.

We all talked and laughed until it was time to get off of the train. Making our way to the first feast of the year, we sat in our usual spots. James and Sirius across from Remus and Peter, I sat beside Remus as Lily and Marlene sat next to and across from me. We were all laughing and catching up when Dumbledore started to speak about the new year, bringing the first years up to be sorted into their houses.

Once everyone was done eating, Remus and I got up from the table.

"Where are you two going?" Sirius asked

"Remy and I are prefects now so we are going to escort the new first years to the common room and their dorms."

"We'll see you guys after?" Remus asked

The group nodded as Remus and I walked to where the first year gryffindor's were seated.

"Hey guys!" I said in a super cheery voice, "I'm Y/n, and this is Remus. We are your prefects this year. If you'll follow us, we can show you where the common room is and where you'll be staying for the year!" I saw smiles grace the children's features. They all hopped up, quickly gathering in a group behind Remus, I took up the back, making sure we didn't lose any curious students on the way.

After we got the children situated with where they were going to be staying, Remus and I walked back into the common room to see our group of friends sitting in front of the fireplace.

"How are the new little troublemakers?" James asked

"Absolutely adorable" I answered

"I think a couple of the kids have a crush on Y/n already" Remus said with a chuckle
