Cherries (pt. 2) (B. Z.)

George and I started dating right before he left Hogwarts behind, he owled me multiple times a week and we went on dates throughout the summer. Cormac and I decided to go to the grand opening of Weasley Wizard Wheezes in support of the Weasley Twins, and it was packed. We walked in and heard them reciting some of the products they created and are selling. I was walking around when I saw Ginny and Hermione at the love potions display.

I picked one up, looking at it closely when I caught my brother staring at Granger. I chuckled, making her look at me.

"What?" She asked

"Sorry," I giggled, again, "It seems like you've caught the attention of my brother"

She looked over, seeing my brother looking in her direction. She looked back down at the potion in her hand before putting it down.

"Not interested?" I asked

She just shook her head, not wanting to be rude. I smiled, "I'll make sure he gets the message."

She smiled at me before looking behind me, "You seem to have an admirer yourself."

I turned, expecting to see George, when my eyes met the extremely dark ones of Blaise Zabini. A flush crept up my cheeks at the attention, the sight making him smirk. I turned back to the love potions, when George walked up behind me.

"Now, I don't think you'll be needing to use these, Love" he said with a smirk.

I turned, smiling brightly up at him, "You sure? I don't know, there might be someone I want extra attention from."

"Who might that be?" He smirked

I looked up at him through my lashes, "Someone who won't be at school with me this year"

"I'm going to miss you too, Darling" He smiles before kissing my cheek.

"Go help your brother, Georgie. Owl me though?"

"Absolutely"

"Hey!" I said before he walked away, "This is impressive, I'm really proud of you two."

He smiled brightly, giving me one last hug and a kiss on the head before heading off to help some students.

After Cormac didn't make the quidditch team, because of someone using a spell on him, he set out to occupy himself with chasing after Granger. I'm not mad about how she charmed him to miss, because Harry would've chosen Ron as keeper anyways. Cor is a bit upset, but he never lets something keep him down for too long, another thing I love about my brother.

"I think I can get her to go on a date with me to Hogsmeade." Cormac says, on the way to potions

"I wouldn't get your hopes up, Cor. She's not interested"

"Why wouldn't she be interested?"

"Because she's interested in someone else"

"How would you know that?"

"Call it a woman's intuition," I smirk at him, "Cor, there is someone out there for you. You're an amazing guy, and I don't want you getting hurt because you're chasing someone who doesn't want you back."

"Thanks for the advice, but I'll be upset with myself if I don't try"

I sit next to him in our potions class, and look him in the eye, "Fine, but please keep your guard up. I really don't want you getting your fragile heart broken."

"Fragile heart?" He asks, faking like I wounded him.

"See what I mean?" We both laugh before turning to the front to listen to Professor Slughorn.
