I stood in the astronomy tower, gazing up at the stars. My hands gripping the railing as I felt a light breeze blow through my hair. Taking a deep breath in, I exhaled slowly as tears pricked at my eyes.

I jumped a little when I felt arms encompass my waist before I leaned back into the familiar warmth of my boyfriend. I felt him kiss the back of my neck before he leaned his head on my shoulder.

"Good evening, My Love" Draco whispered in my ear.

I hummed in content, "Good evening, Sweetheart."

He turned me around to look in my eyes, his smile faltering as he saw the unshed tears in my eyes.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, Baby"

"Don't give me that," he said, lifting my chin with his finger, "What is making you cry?"

I couldn't tell him my fears, he already knew them, and it would just bother him that it's still on my mind.

"Just had a rough day is all."

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. Just couldn't get a certain charm right, and then it just felt like nothing was going right after that."

He pulls me into a tight hug, resting his chin on my head, "I'm sorry, Princess"

I just buried my head in his chest and inhaled his scent to calm my thoughts.

I'm sitting at the Gryffindor table, barely touching my food, while stealing glances and small smiles with Draco across the room. My smile falters when I see Pansy begin to hang off of my boyfriend's arm. He sees my smile drop, and before I see anything else, I stand up and walk out to the courtyard to get some air.

Hermione followed me out, sitting on the stone bench next to me.

"You barely ate anything, Y/n. What's going through your mind?"

"Oh you know, the usual. Essays and NEWTS."

She gave me a look that said, 'stop pretending I'm stupid'. I sighed, "I don't know 'Mione. You are the only one who knows my predicament, it just sucks seeing another girl hang off his arm, when I know we are perfect together."

She rubbed my back as she listened to me rant, "I get it, you know? Not only am I a Gryffindor, but a mudblood at that." I say with some venom in my voice.

"Y/n.."

"Sorry. I'm not ashamed of where I came from, you know that. We grew up together. It's just, I'm really starting to believe the things Draco's friends say about me. I know I'm not good enough for him, I just wish I was because I love him so much."

Hermione chuckled, "If you love him, you should fight for him."

"You think I should?"

"Do you think you should?"

I thought for a moment, "Absolutely." I smiled, "He's everything to me."

We continued talking until it was time for our potions class. Little did we know, we had a listener the whole time.

An emergency alarm was sounded, everyone was supposed to be in their common rooms for head counts, except there were a few students who weren't where they were supposed to be.

Harry and Draco were at the astronomy tower, of course, except I didn't know that. I knew something was wrong, Draco had been acting strange the last couple of days. He told me a bit of what he was having to deal with, not everything, but enough.
