I wake up to the warm feeling of someone's lips on my neck. I open my eyes and see Tyler smile down at me.

"Good morning honey." He says as he gives me a hug.

"Morning handsome. What earns me this wakeup?" I ask as I stretchy and sit up.

Tyler shrugs. "Can't I just kiss my wife?"

I narrow my eyes at Tyler. "Cut the crap Ty. What do you want?"

"Well, you know how we have the boys and how awesome they are?" Tyler asks also sitting up.

"Yeah, my little balls of sunshine, continue."

Tyler bites his lip as he looks at the bed. "Would you be like, against having another kid? I know we talked about it before, and wanted a big family, but can we like, have a baby now?"

"Do you think we're ready for another kid?" I ask.

"I mean, Wyatt and River are four now, I'm in my last semester of college, they I'll get a good stable job. I think we can do it." Tyler says.

"Ok. But should we try for our own kid or adopt. Because I don't know if I'll be able to pregnant again." I say softly.

You see, I grew up in an extremely toxic household. I've gone to therapy for it, and I'm fine now. My parents ended up getting arrested and going to jail for dealing drugs. And my oldest two siblings took in my younger siblings. My siblings and I don't talk much, maybe once a year, but we're trying to mend our broken relationship. But, when I was around 16, I lost my period, because my parents wouldn't let me eat food. It was gone for a good two years, then I got pregnant, with twins shortly after. And that was honestly a miracle. But I did have a few complications during their birth, and it's very unlikely I'll get another miracle and have another kid.

"Well, we wanted to adopt anyway. But I'm down for whatever." Tyler says.

"Ok. I guess we should talk some more later, but you have class, and I have to wake up the boys." I say as I give Tyler a quick peck.

I get out of bed, and walk over to my kids' bedroom, and open the door quietly. I see River, my first born, sitting on his bed, coloring in a coloring book. And Wyatt, my second born, still sleeping and snoring cutely.

River looks up from his coloring book, and waves at me. "Good morning mommy!" He whispers, then climbs out of bed and runs to me and hug my legs. So, I pick him up and let his rest on my hip.

"Hi sweetie. How'd ya sleep?" I ask. River has trouble sleeping, he has insomnia even at his young age. He also has OCD. Even though he's young, we still got a diagnosis on him, and since he is young, it will hopefully be easier to help him learn how to deal with it. And that it's ok if things aren't perfect.

"Good."

I nod. "That's good. Want to wake Wyatt up?"

River nods, so I set him down and he goes and lays down next to his brother on the bed.

"Hey Wywy?" He whispers.

Wyatt opens his eyes and looks at his twin. "Yeah Rivy?" He whispers back.

"It's time to wake up." River whispers.

"Oh ok." Wyatt whispers back, both boys smile at each other.

My heart still melts every time I see them together. They are the actual definition of adorable. I still get over the fact that they're really mine and Tyler's kids. I also can never get over the fact that Tyler married me.

River gets up and holds out his hand for Wyatt to take then both boys walk over to me.

"Hi mommy!" Wyatt says looking up at me.

"Hi Sweetheart. Let's go eat breakfast with daddy before he has to leave." I say.

"Daddy!!!" Wyatt and River shout as they run off to find their dad, and I walk to the kitchen to start on our breakfast.

A second later, Tyler enters the kitchen with both boys in his arms. He comes over to me, and pecks me on the lips, making both boys giggle.

"I want a kiss too!" Wyatt says. So, Tyler kisses his cheeks. Making Wyatt giggle. Then Tyler kisses River's cheeks making him giggle too.

Tyler sets the boys down and places a hand on the small of my back.

"So, boys, are excited for daycare?" Tyler asks.

"Yeah! I get to see my friends!!" Wyatt yells. While River just nods.

"That's cool Wyatt." Tyler says.

"Mommy, can we play with our toys why we wait for breakfast to be made?" Wyatt asks me. But then River puts his hand on his shoulder and gives his brother a disappointed look and sighs.

"You didn't say it right Wywy. It's may we play with our toys. Not can." River says then shakes his head in pure disappointment at his brother.

"Oh yeah. Thanks for that reminder, Rivy. Mommy may we play with our toys while you make breakfast?" Wyatt asks me.

"Of course, boys." I say barely containing my laughter, and it seems like Tyler is having the same problem.

When they're out of the kitchen, Tyler bursts out laughing, and I do too.

"Oh my goodness? They are so funny and cute!" Tyler says.

"I know! Did you see the disappointment in River's eyes when he looked at Wyatt?"

Tyler nods. "I feel like a bad parent for laughing, but gosh dang it it's so funny!"

And we keep that whole lighthearted happiness throughout the whole day, even though I had a very long day at work, which was only 6 hours, but it was six hours knowing Tyler and the boys were at home having fun without me. And that's basically our daily routine, but who knows, maybe we'll add another kid in soon.
