I'm Finally Wanted

Chapter 7

Tyler's Point Of View

"Wassup hottie?" I ask Rae as I walk into our bedroom and see she's sprawled out on our bed.

"Jace said he hadn't forgiven me for what I did. But I have no idea what I did!"

I sigh as I lay down next to Raven.

"I thought you said you moved past this babe." Raven has been coming back to the whole topic of Jace during her from her job for the past three months. I would go all therapist on her, but I don't feel like that's what she needs right now. She needs her husband.

"I did. But then I screwed that and realized he'll always hate me. Like seriously, all my other siblings are fine with how things are right now, then Jace comes out of nowhere and becomes a major jerk."

I sit up and look at Raven. "How important is this answer for you?"

Raven shrugs. "I dunno. I just wanna know why my family never liked me."

"Well, do you know exactly what happened when you where gone for 12 years? Maybe they were abused too. Maybe they were told lies about you. Maybe they just needed a place to put their hate and anger into, and you just happened to be where they put it all."

Raven groans and sits up. "You know what? Forget it. I've moved on from that life. I have a new family now, so why stay stuck on my old one."

I smile at Raven, and watch as she grabs her sketchbook, and climbs back on our bed. She sits on my lap as she opens to a blank page, and starts sketching.

"I've moved on, but I'm still hurt and mad. Nothing wrong in that."

I nod. "That's right. It's ok to hurt, as long as you move on from it and get stronger."

Raven angry sketches for around an hour, and then decides she going to sleep.

I give her a kiss, then leave our room, and go to Christian and Keely's room. I crack the door, and see Keely standing in her crib, she smiles and giggles when she sees me.

Clearly this little girl isn't tired yet. So I quietly get Keely, and leave the room.

With Keely on my hip, I check on River and Wyatt, to see River hugging Wyatt as they sleep in the same bed.

I smile and leave their bedroom, and go downstairs. With Keely.

I set Keely on the ground, and sit across from her.

"Hey darling." Keely giggles and grins at me.

...

I wake up to my lovely wife abusing me with a pillow to the face.

"Tyler. Tyler. Tyler. Tyler. Tyler wake up. Tyler. Tyler wake up. Wake up Tyler. Gosh stop sleeping!" Raven basically yells in my ear as she keeps hitting me with the pillow.

I quickly wrap my arms around her waist, and toss her onto the bed, and pin her down in between my arms. Raven has wide eyes from this whole thing. I'm guessing she wasn't expecting my sudden attack.

"What's up hun?"

"Geez, you scared the crap out of me Short." Raven jokes.

"I'm sorry love."

Raven snacks my chest and laughs. "Stop being a douche and being so loving."

I smile down at her. "Sorry. What the heck do you want jerk?"

Raven nods her head. "Good."

I shake my head and give her a quick peck.

"Anyway, I wanted to tell you some good news." Raven says beaming.

"And what's this good news sugarplum?"

"I got a job!!"

I grin down at Raven, and hug her tightly. Also crushing her in the process. But so what? She can go without breathing for a little bit.

Raven smacks my back, and I take that as my cue to get off of her.

"Wow ok. I say how I got a job, and you try to suffocate me. Such a douchebag."

I laugh loudly at that. I love seeing Raven act like how she did when we were dating.

"I'm sorry Raerae."

Raven rolls her eyes. "Anyway, I got a summertime job at the slushee shack right down the road. I won't start working for a few months though. Which is weird because I don't get why they'd hire people months before the store even opens."

"Who cares? My wifey has got a job!"

Raven grins as she tackles me in a hug. "I freaking love you babycakes."

"I love you too baby."

...

"Ahhh!!!! Don't get me Chris!!" River yells as he runs down the hall.

"I'm coming for you River!" Christian says as he runs after River.

"I'll save you Rivy!" Wyatt yells as he runs after Christian.

I don't even know what game they made up together, but it is hilarious to watch.

River runs to me and hides behind me. "Hide me daddy!" He whisper shouts.

"Ok I'll hide you." I whisper back.

Christian comes running over to me, and looks at me.

"Where is he?" He asks.

"I have absolutely no idea." I say grinning as I quietly point to behind me.

I can sense Raven behind me, and soon enough River is snatched out from behind me, and right into Raven's arms. "I got him for you Chris!"

Christian runs over to Raven, and starts tickling River. "Got you River!"

River's sweet sounding laughter rings throughout the house, making me laugh.

Wyatt runs over to Christian, and Christian starts tickling Wyatt.

All three boys then end up in a dog pile, and they're all laughing.

Raven is then tackled by our kids, and I laugh my butt off at that.

I go and grab Keely off the the ground where she was laying down in her stomach, contently watching the boys playing their game.

I tickle Keely's stomach, and at the sound of her cute little laughs, the three boys run over to me, and start playing peekaboo with Keely.

The boys love making Keely laugh and smile. It makes them so happy.

I just love Saturdays with my family. They are always one of the best days of the week, because we all share it together.

Sorry I haven't been around for a bit. I've had things going on and couldn't write. But I'm back now! School is almost over for me, which means I should be updating more often.

Oh, and when I first started the first book (I'm Unwanted) I explained how my siblings were basically jerks and I had no friends. Well, my siblings and I have a pretty good relationship now, and I have two friends. So I'm no longer extremely lonely! Yay!
