"Guys, your dad and I have something to tell you." I say once Tyler and I have gathered all our kids from all parts of our house.

"No! Wait for grandma and grandpa!" Wyatt yells.

Tyler sighs and rubs his temples. "I love your parents Raven, but I think our kids like them better than us."

I chuckle and shake my head. "Sucks to suck."

After a minute or two, the front door opens, and in comes my parents.

"Gwandma! Gwandpa!" Keely yells as she runs as fast as her little legs can carry her.

"Keely!!" Dad says happily as he scoops Keely up into his arms. "Hey baby!"

Keely giggles when dad tickles Keely's stomach. Chris and Wyatt run to mom and all grab onto her legs.

"Hey hey hey! Calm down my dearest brothers. Grandma is a fragile soul." River says crossing his arms as he watches his brothers.

"Oh hush River. You're like an old man. Have some fun before you grow up for reals." Wyatt says rolling his eyes.

Mom just watches all this and covers her mouth to keep from laughing. Tyler didn't think of that, which means he got a good elbow to the ribs from me.

"Ok ok. Sorry love." Tyler wheezes as he holds his side.

"Alright guys, grandma and grandpa are here, so let's go sit down now." I say trying to get them all to sit down.

Mom and dad walk over to the couches and sit down, meaning everyone else followed. Except for River and Wyatt, who are in an intense staring contest.

"Blink old man." Wyatt growls.

"We're the same age!"

Wyatt raises an eyebrow. "Oh really? If I recall you're exactly 7 minutes and 43 seconds older. Meaning you're an old man. While I'm still full of youthfulness."

I shake my head, and keep from laughing. I find it hilarious that Wyatt calls River an old man. And I find it so funny that River acts like an old man.

"Boys, come on." I say, making them both look at me.

"We weren't fighting! I swear!" Wyatt yells holding his hands up in the air. "Don't arrest us!"

River shakes his head and rolls his eyes. "Mother, please excuse my twins nonsense. I have no idea why he acts like a malnourished child."

Wyatt's jaw drops as he crosses his arms and looks at River. "If you haven't realized River, I am a malnourished child. And so are you, but you're also a nerdy old man."

Rivers jaw drops and he mimics Wyatt stance and they look at each in disbelief. "Was that an insult?!"

Wyatt cocks his head. "I don't know old wise one. Was it?"

River narrows his eyes at Wyatt. "You are unbelievable. Are we even twins?"

"We look the exact same! We're identical twins! You should know that."

River rolls his eyes. "I know that. It was a hypothetical question. Geez Wyatt."

Before Wyatt can say anything, Keely runs over to them. Making both boys instead turn to Keely with giant smiles.

"You two awe fwazy." Keely says to both boys.

"We are crazy aren't we?" Wyatt laughs making Keely laugh.

"Yeah, we're insane!" River laughs as well.

"Come Keels, let's go sit down before mommy turns into the tickle monster." Wyatt whispers to Keely very loudly, then glances at me.

Keely laughs as River and Wyatt take her little hands and walk over to the couch.

"I don't know whether to tell them they're being a little too mean to each other, or to just sit back and be astonished at their intelligence." Tyler says from my side.

"Me neither. Oh but it is so adorable!"

Tyler nods as he wraps an arm around my waist and leads me to the family room. "Ok guys. As we said we have some news."

Keely claps her hands happily. "I luv news!!"

Tyler chuckles lightly. "I know baby."

"So, your father and I wanted to tell you four that you'll be getting another sibling really soon."

"Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Yessssss!!!!" Wyatt says jumping up and down.

"His names is Noah, and he's just a year younger then Keely." Tyler says.

"Baby bwother?!" Keely squeals. "Yay!!!"

"Yes, another brother!!!" River yells.

Christian smiles softly as he watches the three kids jumping around excitedly. "He's being adopted right?"

Tyler nods. "Yeah. His dad died before he was born and his mom died giving birth to him."

Christian frowns. "That's sad."

River places a hand on Chris' shoulder. "It's not sad Chris. We get to be his new family."

That makes Christian smile. "Yeah! You're right. We get to make him feel so loved as our brother. He'll never even remember what it feels like to not be loved. Oh he's gonna be so happy as a part of our family! We're crazy people!"

"We awe fwazy awesomeness! Duh!" Keely says rolling her eyes.

"Oh no. She's only 3 and already knows how to roll her eyes. Our boys have corrupted our little girl." Tyler jokes.

I know he secretly loves Keely's spunkiness. We all do.

This- this happy family. This is what I was missing my whole life. Same for Tyler. He never had this growing up. But we made it. We are now giving our kids the bestest future possible.

When I was younger, I never knew what it felt like to feel wanted. For the longest time I thought I was unwanted. But now? Now I know what it feels like to finally be wanted. And it's all I could ever ask for.
