I'm Finally Wanted

Chapter 11

After a month of being very cautious about going out and stuff, Tyler and I think we're safe. For now at least. Tyler is at work, and the kids are at school, meaning it's just Keely and I.

I text Tyler that I'm going to the store to pick up some groceries. And he calls me, instead of just texting back.

"Hey baby."

"Are you sure you'll be ok love?" Tyler asks.

"Yeah Ty, I can take care of Keely and myself. Anyway, it's not like I'm in some shady place, it's just the grocery store." I say softly.

I'd protect my child with my own life if needed.

"I know love, I'm just worried. I can't loose you or Keely. You mean too much to me."

"I can wait for you to come home with the boys if you want." I say as I continue dressing Keely. I find it sweet how Tyler is so protective, but it's messed up how we need to worry about just going grocery shopping.

"No, it's ok. I trust you hun. I know how strong and protective you are. Just promise me you'll call me in half an hour, so I can be sure you're safe."

"I promise you Tyler."

"Ok love. I've gotta go back to work now, talk later. Love you Rae."

"Love you Tyler." I say, then hang up.

I set a timer on my phone for half an hour, and drive to the grocery store.

After I'm done shopping, I head back out to my car, and that's when my mother senses tingle.

I look around the parking lot, when my eyes land on Zane and Dax. Zane sees me, and drags Dax over to me with him.

"Really shrimpy, you had another kid with that crap bag of a husband? Or did you cheat on him, because that baby doesn't even look like him." Zane says smirking the whole time.

"Zane, I don't go out of my way just to insult you, your wife, and your kids. Please just leave me alone." I say staying calm.

"Oh, so you did cheat on him then. You're just like mom, you filthy slut." Zane says scoffing.

"Excuse me, but I did not cheat on Tyler and I am nothing like my mother." I say gritting my teeth.

I mean really, why does Zane hate me this much? What did I do to him?

"Of course you are. You cheated on your husband, had a kid with your secret lover, and convinced Tyler that the kid is his."

My eyes flicker to Dax, who is ghostly pale.

"What do you mean by that?" I ask curiously.

"Do you really think mom never cheated on dad? You really think dad would be that abusive to his real kid?" Zane asks crossing his arms.

"Hold on, what?"

"Are you really that stupid Raven?! You aren't dads! Mom cheated and had you, why do you think you were so hated by them?! Gosh."

Haha, what?!

"I hate you simply for the reason you ruined my happy family. You came along, and mom and dad started to love us kids less. Mom and dad fought all the time, and dad threaten to leave mom. So I said that mom could just abort the baby and forget about everything. I wanted my happy parents back."

So Zane was the reason mom and dad tried to abort me?

"When the abortion didn't work, I suggested mom put you up for adoption. Everything was fine until you came back. You messed everything up, so I got all of my siblings on my side. You ruined this family."
