I know Tyler loves when I give him a good wake up. So I smack him in the face with my pillow.

Just because we're married and madly in love doesn't mean I'll ever stop hitting him with my pillow. It's a thing we do, and I'll never ever stop.

Tyler groans, and I go to smack him again, but my phone starts ringing.

I sigh and drop the pillow, and pick up my phone, despite who's calling me.

"Hello?"

"Hey Raven. Sorry for calling, I get you probably aren't quite ready to talk to me, but I wanted to ask you a question."

"It's fine Dax. You're my most tolerable sibling. You helped save me."

Tyler sits up and wraps his arms around me when he hears the mention of my brothers name.

"Well, you know how I live with Zane?"

"Yeah. I know."

"Um... I can't be there right now. Zane and I had this huge fight, and I'm probably able to go to one of our other siblings' houses but I can't go to any of their houses because Zane would just come get me."

"What was the fight about?"

"Doesn't matter." Dax says quickly. "Can I just come over?"

I realize that it sounds like he was crying, and the mother part of me kicks in.

"Of course Dax, where are you?"

"I'm at the park by our old house."

"Ok. I'll come get you. Be there soon."

I hang up on Dax, and wiggle out of Tyler's arms and go to my closet and put clothes on.

"Rae? What's going on hun?"

"Dax and Zane had a fight. Dax can't be at home right now so I'm gonna go pick him up and bring him here." I say rushed as I throw on some of Tyler's clothes.

"Is he ok?" Tyler asks suddenly behind me. He sound me around so I'm facing him, and keeps a tight grip on my hips.

"I- I don't know. He sounded like he was crying. I don't know. I just can't leave him though."

Tyler nods in understanding. "Ok, drive safe my love."

...

I pull into the parking lot of the park I used to call my second home. And see Dax sitting in the very bench I've sat on waiting for Tyler to come get me.

Dax comes over to the car, and hops in the passenger seat, looking down the whole time.

I start driving home, respecting the fact Dax doesn't want to talk right now.

I get home, and park the car, but keep the car doors locked.

"Are you ok?" I ask.

Dax nods. "Yeah." He says softly.

"Ok. Let's go in." I say and we both walk inside.

Tyler is sitting on the stairs with Keely in his arms, presumably having say there waiting for me to come back.

"Oh, you had another kid Rae?" Dax asks as he looks at Keely.

"That's Keely. Our adopted daughter." I say.

Dax waves at Keely, and see smiles at him.

"She's cute."

"Mhm."

Dax looks at me. "I'll- I'll just go over there and you can pretend I'm not here."

Dax starts to walk away, but I grab his shoulders and steer him into the kitchen and make him sit at the table.

"Look, maybe a few months ago I'd be having a hard time being around you, but now? I forgive you Dax. I've moved on. You were were only 5 years old when I came back, that's all you knew. I'm healing, I've gotten help, I'm fine. I forgive you."

Dax looks at me. And hugs me tightly when I open my arms for him. I'm not sure if I've ever hugged him before.

"Now, what was this fight about?"

...

Dax wouldn't budge on what this fight was about, so I've given up trying to find out. He says he's just going to spend the night and go home in the morning. So I made the bed in the guest room for him.

Dax comes into the guest room, and sits on the bed. So I stand across from him.

"Why didn't you just go to a friends house?"

Dax chuckles. "I don't really have friends Rae."

I frown. "How come?"

"You do know mom and dad went to jail right? Everyone knows my parents were selling drugs, and they're scared of me."

"I'm sorry about that Dax. It must suck."

Dax shrugs. "You made it through basically your whole childhood without friends, so I'm sure I'll be fine."

I nod.

"Ok. Well I guess I'll let you get to sleep." I say as I leave Dax alone. I go and get the kids ready for bed, then put them to bed.

Tyler is coming out of our bedroom as I'm exiting Keely and Christian's bedroom, and he tosses me over his shoulder and takes me downstairs. Then he drops me onto the couch.

"Wassup babe?" Tyler jokes.

"Not much babycakes, you?"

Tyler shrugs. "Just admiring my extremely beautiful lovely darling cute hot hot hottt wife."

"Ok Ty. I knew you thought of yourself highly, but that's a little too much."

Tyler frowns. "I was talking about you Ravey Poo."

I chuckle and rolls my eyes. "Ok Benny boy."

Tyler rolls his eyes and sits next to me as he turns on the tv. "My middle name is Bentley, not Benny."

"I know love."

Hey tic tacs!
I hope y'all are having a good day/night. I started a new book, which you won't need to know about for a little bit, but I have to wait until this book is done before I can post it. It's weird going from writing that book then back to this one, but whatever. Love you guys! Bye!
