After several months full of classes and paperwork and days in court, Tyler and I are finally allowed to adopt two kids. A brother and sister. The boy is 7 and the girl is 18 months old. We chose them because they just had this special thing to them. Tyler and I saw them, and knew they would one day be our kids.

We had to move into an actual house because we didn't have enough room in the townhouse for our new kids. But we found a pretty cheap house not too far away from the college campus.

And right now, marks the day our kids are officially ours.

Tyler and I wanted to try for a baby, but I didn't think it was a good idea right now. I had enough complications during the boys' pregnancy. Not to mention there was a large chance I wouldn't be able to get pregnant again. Even if I could get pregnant, I'd have a high chance of a miscarriage, and I don't think we'd be able to handle that right now. So we just adopted two little angels. And now Tyler and I are proud parents of four kids.

...

"Ok guys, it's dinner time." Tyler says to our kids.

Christian and Keely are still very shy around Tyler and I. And Christian is very protective of his sister. But I understand. He wants his sister to be safe. Tyler and I don't mind much, because they've only been living with us for a few days.

"Keely, it's dinner time." Christian says to his sister and he holds her hand as he leads her to the table, then he picks her up and placed her on her little highchair. And then he sits next to her.

"Hey Christian, did you know you're really really strong?!" River says to Christian.

"I am strong?" Christian questions.

"You can lift up Keely! I can't barely even lift up a milk jug!"

Christian smiles. "I guess I've just been working out a lot."

"Can we work out with you?" Wyatt asks. "I want to be really strong like you one day."

The boys really look up to Christian and really love Keely. River and Wyatt also came a few times when we meet up with Christian and Keely. They're very friendly with each other and act like one big family. Well, because we are now.

"Hey Christian, Keely likes strawberries right?" Tyler asks Christian.

Christian nods. "It's her favorite."

"Here you go Keely." Tyler says as he places down Keely's dinner. Which is strawberries and little Cheerios.

The boys get Mac and cheese, with chicken nuggets. Which also happens to be what Tyler and I are eating.

What? It's good food that adults are allowed to eat.

"Hey, I'm really glad your my brother." River says. "You're awesome."

Christian smiles then looks at Tyler and I.

"Do you guys like me too?"

"Oh course I like you Christian. Actually, I love you. That's why Raven and I worked so hard to get you two, we loved both of you so much." Tyler says.

"We really do love you Christian, and we love Keely too."

Christian smiles at us. "I love you too."

...

Tyler and I just finished putting the kids to bed, gosh I love saying that, and then head to our own bedroom.

"Hey Ty?"

Tyler looks at me as he's in the middle of changing into his pjs.

"Yes hunny?"
