"So where to next?" Bonnie asks as we walk out of the school.
"Well I have some work to do" Elena says hesitantly. I slowly nod at her not buying it but I let it go, "What about you Isla?" Bonnie turns to me.
"Well I'll see if I can find a job and then go back home and arrange my room" I scratch the back of my head.
"Okay works with me, but you guys are coming tomorrow evening right?" She asks.
"Yeah we are" Elena answers with a smile.
"What's tomorrow evening?" I raise my brow at her. "Don't worry you will see" Elena smiles at me.
"Okay then, see you guys later" I say walking away from them.
I start to walk down the road looking around the mystic falls, nothing has changed beside some buildings. I walk around a corner and see Mystic Grill.
Well here goes nothing. I open the glass door and walk inside a strong mixture of aroma hits me instantly. I can smell freshly brewed coffee with alcohol lingering in the air. I walk towards the bar area. The man has his back on me and I see his arms moving, probably cleaning the area.
I clear my throat instantly getting his attention, he turns around with annoyed expression but as soon as eyes land on me a smirk takes over his feature.
"So what a pretty girl like you doing here in the middle of the day?" He leans onto the bar counter with a smug look.
"Yeah no not interested, I am here looking for a job? If there any vacancy?" I say look him dead in the eye. His face drops and he rolls his eyes at me.
"That's the manager, talk to him" he points towards a man who is walking around in a black suit.
"Thanks" I mutter without sparing him a second glance.
I reach to the man in black suit.
"How can I help you?" a sincere smile takes over his feature.
"I was wondering if you have a job for me?" I give him a sheepish smile.
"Of course! We were just about to post for an available spot for a waiter" he informs me.
"That's great! so what do I require?" I ask him.
"Well not much, just provide us with your id and some background details and you are good to go and you can start right away" he says enthusiastically.
"That's awesome so I am not carrying much information on me right now, so will it be okay I start from tomorrow?" I ask hoping he'd say a yes.
"Of course! but if you are unable to provide the information by tomorrow and someone else asks for the job I am sorry but I have to give it to them" he replies.
"Yes that is totally understandable" I smile at him.
"So I will see you tomorrow?" he trails.
"Isla Gilbert" I extend my hand for him to shake.
"Chris Lou" he smiles at me and takes my hand.
"Alright then Isla, I will see you tomorrow" he let go off of my hand and bids me a farewell.
I wave him goodbye as I exit the Grill.
"Well that went well than I expected" I breath out and start to walk towards home.
I reach home in less than fifteen minutes.
I take out the spare keys Elena gave to me during lunch today.
"I am home" I holler and I wait for a reply but after five minutes when I get nothing I make my way to the kitchen and pull out the bottle of orange juice and gulps it down without bothering to get a glass.
