67. Family Business

Damon and Stefan have grown super uncomfortable.

Well Klaus just slapped them right in the face with truth.

Their obsession with Elena which I don't understand will either get them killed or her.

"I am gonna get some air" Damon says standing up walking away.

"I'll deal with this"  me and Elijah both say in unison. We look at each other and nod.

Elijah gets up and like a gentleman he is, he pulls my chair and helps me up as well before we both follow Damon.

When we were out of the hearing range, Damon turns towards us.

"We need to buy Bennet witches time. They are really close to opening that coffin" Damon instantly says.

"How do you suggest we do this?" I ask because we are literally out of options.

"I may have something in mind" Elijah says before beckoning us to follow him quietly. He takes us to a far room down the corridor and I see 3 familiar coffins.

"You are getting evil Elijah I like it" Damon says, before I know it they both open all the coffins and pull out the daggers. He grabs one of the girls quietly and bite in her neck before letting the blood seep down on all three of his siblings. The grey lines started to disappear real fast and their true skin colours started to show.

But this will take time and we need to get back before he gets suspicious, we leave the room

So we make our way back into the dinning room. "So what do you say Klaus? Time for you to put something on table" Damon says as I follow him with Elijah behind me.

"We've made our offer now you counter."

"Okay" he sits down again, " I offer Elena's future happiness. You see what she needs right now is to be rid of you lot. And to fall in love with a human maybe that nice football player. The blonde one."

"Matt Donovan? Really?"  Damon says with disgust.

"Yeah why not? They'll marry live a long life and pop out a perfect family" Klaus answers.

"And continue the Petrova bloodline. So every few hundred years you'll have a new doppleganger to drain and never run out hybrids right Klaus" Stefan says directly.

"Consider it a small return on my investment in her well being. See, after you hand me back the coffin. I'll ensure her safety for rest of her natural life. You know its what best for her." He stands up again walking towards the fireplace. "So what do you stay Stefan? Hmm? We have a deal?"

Stefan does the same and walks towards Klaus.

Okay this can get messy.

Klaus raises his hand to and so does Stefan?

"Nice try, Klaus. But no deal" Stefan says.

And within seconds Klaus face turn that of muderous, he breaks Stefan's arms twists him and breaks his knees and then holds his hand over the fire as Stefan continue to scream in agony.

Before Damon can move to rescue, Elijah holds him by the neck against the wall. Damon looks at me, however Elijah is looking at me as well. As if saying not to do anything. I give him subtle nod before Elijah releases his hold on Damon.

"Stop!" Damon screams as Stefan hands continues to burn.

"Now bring me my coffin before I burn him alive" Klaus says still holding Stefan's hand against the fire pushing him ever so slightly in.

So much for a fake deal.

"Fine, I'll get it" Damon breathes out walking outs and I follow him.

"Go with brother, you keep him honest" well that makes things easier few seconds later Elijah follow back towards that room.

After few minutes a boy, with a beautiful face opens his eyes with a heavy breath.

"Kol" Elijah hugs him and without hesitation Kol hugs him back.

"Where is Klaus-" before Kol can finish his sentence, Elijah covers his mouth and tells him to keep quiet he nods in understanding. Kol's gaze linger onto me, he bows down in greeting making me lightly chuckle. I slightly bow down as well.

Then Rebekah wakes up, before she can say anything Damon covers her mouth and whispers shout at her at what's going on. She nods her head.

Then the last brother who looked like a warrior from centuries ago wakes up. Elijah covers his mouth as well and whisper yells at him to keep quiet he nods.

All the three sibling drink the girl dry.

Seeing them made me thirsty as well. I have ask atticus to get a human when we leave.

Elijah asks all of us to follow, as he hands the daggers to the girl who keeps it on a tray and covers it with a red cloth.

Elijah asks his siblings to wait as to surprise Klaus and he asks me and Damon to stand back now.

We walk back in again now Elijah walking in front with girl walking in as well.

Klaus acknowledges our presences.

"Why haven't you left?"

"Well where are your manners brother? We forgot dessert" Elijah says as he removes the clothing showing the daggers that were suppose to be in his siblings.

A scared look plaster on Klaus's face, "what have you done?"

"What have you done?" Elijah counters, "you see I have learned not  to trust your vulgar promises Klaus. We are doing this on my terms now" as soon as Elijah finishes. Kol walks in from behind us.

"Kol-" Klaus shutters taking a step back.

"Long time brother"

Before Klaus can speed out of the room, Finn flashes in grabbing the dagger and stabbing Klaus in the hand. Klaus tries to run away from the other direction but Rebekah cuts him off.

"This is for our mother"  and she stabs him in the stomach before walking towards us.

"You are free to go" Elijah says, "this is family business."

He doesn't need us to tell twice before we make a beeline for the exit.
