57. Shift

"This is something" Klaus says looking at me when Tyler finally calmed down. Caroline still held back by Rebakah.

"I can't talk about it" I sigh out rubbing my temple.

"Oh yeah and why?" Rebakah sails at me.

"Don't tempt me to rip your head clean off" I mumble under my breath.

Klaus raises his eyebrow at me, "What did you say?" she pushes Caroline of on the floor and rushes towards me I raise my hand and she goes back flying.

"Wait if you are a witch? Then why are you drinking human blood?" Klaus asks.

"It's complicated" I reply with a sigh rubbing my temple as I feel a headache coming over. I get off the bench and pat my pockets looking around for my phone.

"Where is my-?"

Klaus holds it on front of my face. I reach to take it but he raises it above his head, "Don't right now" I sigh.

"Tell me what is complicated then?"

"Some other time please?" I tell him looking around.

"Fine, love we are due a conversation" he hands me my phone and I dial Atticus's number walking out of the room.

"Miss Isla!! Where were you I looked almost everywhere, I am on the way to Mystic High-"

"I am at Mystic High, and I am fine I had human blood, but I have a terrible headache" I tell. him.

I feel him breath out in relief.

"But I need you back at the estate , tomorrow will be full moon, as you get your vampire gene activated due to force I am worried and 99% sure you will transform into a wolf" he tells me.

"Right"

"I need your help to compel couple of vampires and humans about me, we will start with Klaus" I breathe out.

"I will see you after two days, it will last for two days as it was kicked in before its time. I will be leaving the estate as I don't want to be bitten by your wolf form and no I won't tie you down, your wolf transformation should be the most beautiful experience plus I have some work at your grandmothers grave" Atticus bows down, leaving through the big double door.

I breath out walking outside, the wind of the night caressed my face making me smile, I sit on the steps just basking in the light breeze, I slightly look up to see that moon will reach its apex soon.

I am terrified because of the unbearable pain the shift is going to cause but excited for the aftermath. Atticus told me from what he has heard from my ancestors that it is painful but it will be glorious afterwards moreover it will be better if you are a vampire. All of the senes are heightened, the smell, the vision, awareness, basically it is a godly experience.

I feel a sudden shooting pain in my back making me let out a scream, few seconds later pain flared in my knees, my face started to crack, every single bone in my body started to reshape itself making me let out scream after scream of agony. I fall onto the ground panting heavily, my whole body disfigured and then I feel the pain which was hundred times worse, I let out a murderous scream which probably could be heard from miles away and then everything went dark.

I slowly open my eyes blinking rapidly, standing with a groan but I didn't stand up to my height. I look down to see black furred paws with purple streaks, I turn around only to be met with a sight of the same texture colour of the paws on a fluffy tail.

I have shifted, I look around and everything is hyper focused. I look through miles between the trees. I sniff and all sorts of pleasant fragrance filled my body, making me poke my tongue out in delight. Suddenly my eyes land on a butterfly flying in front of me, a playful feeling filled my body which made me chase the butterfly. The wind caressed my fur making me all giggly as well as warm.
