"Nothing, I have found nothing. I even asked Atticus and there is nothing we can do to prevent Elena from dying as it is the first time for him to see a doppelgänger getting killed for a sacrifice moreover I was right about the elixir, it is poisonous. It will not kill Elena, it will seep into her blood stream and when Klaus drinks her blood completely he will die also the blood loss will kill  her in the process" I let out a sigh.

"Damnit" he curses, "Meet me at the Grill, I have to tell you something."

"Alright." I press the red button.

"Are you sure you will be okay on your own?" Atticus asks for the thirteenth time.

"Yes I will be, believe it or not Klaus is not going to harm me" I let out a sigh.

"Yeah still" he says and I shake my head no.

"Okay then but if you feel threatened in anyway please contact me you are still in transitioning and promise not to use your magic in any circumstances- the consequences will be fatal" he seriously states.

"I promise" I give him a smile and I see his shoulder visibly relaxing.

"I will see you after all of this finishes" I tell him before leaving the home.

I cut off the engine after parking Atticus's car into the parking lot of the grill. I make my way inside, as soon as I open the door I am hit with familiar smell of beans and alcohol.

Ah the good old normal days.

Hopefully I can get back to work after all of this is over. To get little bit of normal in my life.

I spot Damon and Alaric sitting on the bar stools,  quickly making my way towards them. I slide into the stool next to Alaric. Both of them are holding glass of bourbon, making me roll my eyes. They are acting like she has died already.

"I fed Elena my blood" Damon speaks up, twirling the liquid in the glass.

Oh.

"I screwed up" he finally looks up.

"Yeah" I whisper, I feel a pair of eyes on me making me spin the bar seat. I glance around the bar to see Matt Donavan, glaring at Damon.

Oh he knows something.

"Gentlemen. Why so glum?" I hear the familiar voice, and a smile threaten to itch on my face.

I feel both of them shuffling. Alaric stands blocking me.

"Klaus I presume" Damon groans.

"In the flesh, thank for the loaner mate" he look at Alaric.

He hasn't noticed me yet.

Why do I care if he has.

"Well time for me to leave" I say gaining everyone's attention. I move to the side and Klaus's eyes fell on mine and my stupid heart thumped a little louder.

What is happening.

"Where you going?" Damon asks.

"I wanna give you ladies some privacy" I smirk internally, glancing at Klaus.

"Did you told her what I said to you?" Klaus questions Alaric, Alaric lets out a sigh shaking his head no. Klaus glares at Ric but diverts his attention to me. He walks up to me, standing right in front of me.

He offers his hand for me to take which I do, without any hesitation, he presses his lips against the back of my hand, few seconds longer it should've have been.
