58. Ghosts

"Isla" I hear Jermey's voice, I shut my locker and look at him.

"What's up?" I ask looking down at my sketch book.

"I want to tell you something" he grabs my hand before I can answer and we enter men's room. He checks every stall before turning on the taps.

"Remember when you said if I am feeling any side effects because Bonnie brought me back from the dead?"

I slowly nod at him.

"Yeah well I am and I can see Anna" he breathes making my eyes widen.

"As in see see?"

"Yes as in see see and yesterday I was able to feel her" he whisper shouts.

"Is she right here?" I ask and he nods in reply.

"Did she asked you to tell me?"

"She said you can help, and you should be the only one I should trust you with it."

"I am flattered Anna truly" I say to no one in particular.

"Well so you can help or not?" he questions but before I can answer someone opens the door.

"What are you guys doing here?"  Alaric asks.

"Uh nothing I was asking Jeremy something about Stefan" I smoothly lie.

"Okay well I need you both to suffer with me in the centre of the town" he says motioning us to come outside.

"And why is that?" I ask.

"Well Mr. Fell is promoting whole history thing and me being a history teacher has a job over there" he explains.

"Well it doesn't explain why you need us" I mumble.

"Well I am the history teacher who gives you your marks so consider it extra credit" he chuckles making me roll my eyes.

We reach the town square and half of the mystic falls high is already there, I see Bonnie and Caroline hanging lanterns and others are decorating stage while Mrs. Lockwood is giving a speech.

Matt is looking gloomy as ever.

I can feel tension in the atmosphere.

Durning Mr. Fell's speech Elena joined us.

"I need your help" Elena says to Jeremy.

"I am in too" Alaric says breathing out, "Bored?" I snicker and he nods his head.

We all walked towards the Grill and sat outside so Alaric still has idea what is going on plus can rush to help if Carol calls him.

"These are the Stefan's journal, whenever he went off the rails Lexi helped him" Elena pulls out multiple brown leather diarys, slamming them into the table.

"Where is she now?" Alaric asks.

"Dead" I look at him.

"And you want me to contact Lexi, don't you?" Jeremy asks.

"Yeah, if Lexi can tell me how she did it, I will be able to help Stefan" Elena reason.

"I don't even know if she is on the other side" Jeremy shrugs her shoulder.

"That is what its called?"

"That is what Anna calls it, it is not like I have a brochure or anything."

"So what its like supernatural purgatory?" Alaric asks.

"No, its more like another world, when a supernatural creature dies they go there, they are truly immortal you know" I mumble out and everyone looks at me surprised.
